One of the most tense draws ever
This draw had me shaking ngl
Bro could have did our guy dirty but he didnt thankfully.
I would destroy 100 world chess masters haha😂😢
Even stockfish 12😢😢😢
@@erangigunasena1127 you like your own comment?
That kid had integrity. Respect to him
A great result giving a strong foundation for the rest of the tournament.
Nice of him to offer a draw when you had no time left.
as a 2000 caro-kann main watching this was really painful 😶🌫
I remember when you were like 20k subs i took 6 months break (i came back 3 months ago) and now i see you REALLY improved. Almost 200k subs
Almost 🤞🤞🤞
@@thechessnerdCan ii chat something important with uu plsss
What did you think? Should I have pushed with 45 seconds? Round 1 uploaded yesterday if you want to watch that too! ❤
No,you made the right decision.
Whatever decision you made was the right one
How much time did the opponent had though?
So disrespectful to trick the opponent and take the win. I'm so happy that you at least got the draw and 500€ for your brilliance!
You mean 350€
To be clear, because of the result I did not submit the game for brilliancy prize. If the end would have worked for white, I would have though.
@@thechessnerd
Still submit dude!!!
It was unfortunate that white was not able to convert due to any reason but ur rook sacs were really brilliant.
Also Be3 move was really brilliant
Submit it. The worst that could happen is they say "no". And it's not a waste of time for them. It's a fun sac.
8:34 is where he sacs the rook
I would had turned the Caro-kan into the Queens Gambit Declined Slav defense which happens when you sacrifice the c pawn with the move c4 which opponents might not know how to handle it since most opponents will be caught off guard including Caro-kan players of chess.
amazing edit and very interesting video as always! How do you create the "opening", "middlegame" and "endgame" effects with the borders lasting an exact amount of time? Thanks!
we are SO back (its 6 am here)
I love your tournament videos! Keep up!
My first brilliant at the board was at a tournament, I sacrificed a rook for a knight, if he took with his queen, it would be a triple fork, but she took with the pawn and got mated in 5
Can’t wait to see you at the Cambridge Open next month!
Love the effects!!
Very fun video. I enjoyed it. Thank you Zachery
Thank you ❤️
What a video. The sacrifice was brilliant!!!!!!
Amazing video man, may i ask for the name of your turtleneck? The brand I mean, its AMAAAAZING
How do you have time to prepare and play these tournaments when in university? I can only play like 2 tournaments per year unfortunately
I'm leading the Pernambucano Magistral 24 - Group D, a RR tournament held in Pernambuco, Brazil. I went to a Caro-Kann and also got my first !! move! It was a rook sacrifice than ended up winning a pawn.
Crazy game against FM Zach!
what do you think of the exchange caro kann with bishop to bd3?
To be fair: in this opening (I play this with black) you don't need super much prep. After Be7 the position is considered to be equal yet Qg4 is most challenging.
Greetings from Germany ;)
Maybe that’s why he took so much time before committing to Be7 instead of Bb6. He doesn’t like the Qg4 variation (would have been fire prep).
You have one skill that we would all kill to have. You never seem to get nervous playing higher rated players. A few months ago in a tournament I played against a rated guy rated 1000 FIDE (I was unrated) and after hours of playing I finally gained an advantage, and was able to navigate somewhat well. Later he got low on time and blundered mate in two. A few rounds later I was paired against someone who had a performance rating of more than 1900. The nerves caused me to blunder really early and I later resigned as my opponent was trolling me with a knight and a bishop. I later found out that *the 1000-rated guy who I won against, actually drew this guy who had a performance rating over 1900.*
Well done on winning against that guy. Whenever I play higher rated opponents I treat them like any other person. You've got to remember that everyone is human and makes mistakes then trust your instincts and calculation if u feel they have played something wrong.
@@ekersh3428 that reminds me, in the last round of the tournament I was paired against a guy who was unrated but also undefeated. he'd won every other round and had a very high performa rating. I was getting destroyed in the middlegame but I did my best to defend and eventually equalized. I then found a very nice move threatening checkmate, and the only good way for him to defend was to walk right into a double attack on his king and queen. I was the only person throughout the entire tournament to defeat him. even after winning a queen for a minor piece though, I was spending tons of time because I was nervous. I really need to improve at that
what was the name of the tournament

@@joseantoniosimplicioviegas 29th tamil nadu state team chess championship I think
@@joseantoniosimplicioviegas just checked, it was the 29th Tamil Nadu State Team FIDE Rated Chess Championship

Your tournament game reviews are really good and I enjoy watching them! The only bad thing is the background music, it annoys a bit when focusing in the analysis.

Good job!
Thanks Rayaan :)
Bro could of played alien Gambit
I have played a total of 3 brilliant moves as a 500 elo 💀
Beautiful game :))
Just awesome haha
Is it me or is it improper to talk about a 3 move draw, it's like a fix ultimately. If you'd naturally done so then fair enough but to agree to do it to get around a rule seems wrong
Happens a lot even I did that in one of my tournaments it's legal
You look like Alireza Firouzja.
This video is so good and i like it,but what about Brilliant move and 350€ 😅
hahahahah this was literature material
Please don’t say tempy just say tempo cause it sounds less sus
