@@soon390 I get why people are so high on Carvajal on these lists, but I also think it’s part of a bigger issue with Ballon D’Or discussions where “trophies won” is misconstrued with “impact on winning”. The magnum opus of this absurd way of thinking was of course when Jorginho finished 3rd. Watkins was the most important player on a non-big 6 team from England qualifying for the champions league. Something that has only happened 3 times in the last 15 years. I personally value that more than Carvajals season, even with the trophies won in his regard.
