  • Hello guys, In this video I am trying to fix Nescafe Dolce Gusto Oblo KP 110 machine. Unfortunately I was unable to fix it due to a problem on the main board. Of course I can buy a new board and change it but this will miss the purpose of this video. If you have any idee on what component is making this problem , please let me know.

    I found how to solve this problem !! This is a manufacturing defect! Take the plastic button out of the upper connector and leave the rubber pad !! Everything works! Good luck !!

      If you ever need to change this again - you can remove it without dismantling the machine. A small crewdriver flicks it out easily and you can just push the new one in. I've just done so myself. No dissassembly required at all.

    Update: i solved my issue. You don't need to unscrew your whole machine. You need to modify the button only. Like some of you here pointed out. I only took out the front panel plastic shield to access the power button. It's actually quite logical. When you plug the machine it's not supposed to turn on by itself, you have to turn it on. You can verify this by unplugging the SW (marked) white connector from the board leaving only the LED connector. Then when you plug the machine back you can use a small metal tip to touch the exposed SW connector prongs and check machine functionality this way. It's basically bypassing the button pressing on the top by just closing the circuit manually. The machine works for me. It was the wife that did it 😅. She ran tap water after washing the machine and water got into the button. I cleaned and dried the button circuit board and put it back in. All works fine. In your video the machine worked but entered in error state because the button was kept pressed by liquid presence in the button area thus sending a signal to the board to display error.

    There is no MOSFET in this controller they are Triac. Also the issue is the sensor(proxy switch)with the white wire that detects if the handle of the capsules is pushed down or not. In my device, the sensor was loose in its place. when I put a magnet close to it the pump switches ON. My problem is that I don't know how to put the sensor back in its place,

      Then on the main board you have a connector that has written neXt to it HOLD. Remove the connector and short out the 2 pins inside the connector on the board. Just bend the pins inside the board connector untill they make contact. And it should work afterwards.

    I have the exact problem with mine. Stopped working just like that and I assumed it was because my wife washed the top of the machine with soaked rag and it burned the circuits or something. But now that I see your video or looks like a mainboard problem. I would look for spare parts.

    Hi, thank you for your video, you helped me a lot. I had the same symproms with my oblo. I managed to fix it and apart of a descaling that it needed, I had a falure on the capsule sensor. The contacts on the main board are the these named "HOLD" (white cables). I just overide the sensor by shorting the two contacts together, maybe yours has the same problem and your main board is fine. Thank you again!

    Am văzut că ai observat și tu ceva topit acolo...mă gândesc că și la mine e ceva similar.
    Daca acolo e un contact imperfect lamelele manetei se încălzesc...și topesc plasticul din jur. Acolo e ceva putere pt că acea maneta alimentează direct pompa.
    Merci pt video.

    • @benassy69
      @benassy69  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Am testat și sertărașul introdus. Știu de acel manget din păcate nu merge nici așa. Suspectez un Cer tranzistor care pornește pompa. Voltajul pe pompa este doar 23v in loc de 220v. Momentan nu am un alt tranzistor sa probez. Inițial am suspectat și eu maneta și am inlocuit-o cu alta de pe un alt aparat...tot nu merge. Când voi face rost de un alt aparat voi mai incerca alte variante...

    • @bogdanbelciu6242
      @bogdanbelciu6242 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ok. Eu tocmai l-am desfăcut in partea de sus pe al meu, e cu totul alt format, are acel cap rotund. Nu, comutatorul e complet altfel și acolo are un microcontact, nu e nimic de putere. Sincer am mirosit peste tot, nu pricep de unde vine mirosul de plastic încins. Sertărașul miroase cel mai tare și cred că de la el vine mirosul de ars, altceva nu vad acolo. Funcționează perfect. Am reușit să-l desfac fara sa rup vreo clemă :) asta urăsc la aparatele de genul, daca nu ești atent...și dacă nu ai mai desfăcut, le rupi.
      Multa baftă, nu știu dacă merită reparația la partea electronică, eu am dat pe al meu 100lei...însă tot ce vreau e sa nu ia foc aiurea prin casă. :)
