Dolce Gusto Oblo model: KP110. Lever arm Capsule pinch mechanism easy repair!

Firstly this is my first upload, apologies for the shaky camera work and focusing! I hope it helps someone out there fix their machine.
This is rather a simple fix for what i thought would be a broken part in the machine, it's not. the hardest thing is the first clip you have to pry apart,
1. release the screws: You will need a T-10H torx bit with the hole drilled in the centre. i got mine from Lidl, the Parkside seems to be of far better quality than the Powerfix range of tools) i used my pliers to grip the bit whilst holding in place with one finger as it's too tight to get the bit holder in there.
2. lever the first clip open and proceed to lever the lid up about 1cm
3. once you can see the tabs at the sides push it in to release the lid, i found the left one was easier and then it just came apart to reveal the mechanism
4. push the capsule holder down with one finger and rotate the cam to face away from you, mine clicked into place. although if you pushed the capsule holder down further it might not click but will still be good.
5. that's it, just pop it all back together!
6. i found out that that little spring in the back that pulls out and seems to have no purpose is actually for cleaning the water injection nozzle for the capsules. (lost the manual and never read it anyway)

Check the lever works a few times before you close it up, both with an old capsule and the clear plastic water only capsule (this seems to be the one that causes the problem if it's not set properly)! The angle of the back of those cams seems to be best set at around at around 45 degrees, when looking down on them, otherwise they pop back out of position and you'll be opening it up again (as i did). the first sign of this problem is that it refuses to release the capsule.

A more permanent solution is to wait until they give away new machines when you purchase a bulk order of coffee at their online store, sometimes they even have a sale on at the same time, this happens 1 or 2 times a year - that's what we did in the end!
