About the game:
Instruments of Destruction features an advanced physics-based destruction system. You can demolish every structure in the game piece by piece. In addition, every object you see in the game world--save for small decorative plants and rocks--is part of the physics system. Each element of the world interacts with each other and together they create a physical, visceral world to play with.
Build Your Vehicle
Build a vehicle your way, with an ever-expanding array of parts and pieces. Using an intuitive vehicle construction system that also lets you customize your vehicles' appearance and controls, you'll always have fun creating your next awesome invention.
From simple splitters to advanced joints, a variety of parts slowly unlock as you play through the game, and each unlocks countless new possibilities.
While some vehicles will perform better than others in accomplishing your objectives, it's always a bit more fun to get creative and go a little off script. Optional bonus challenges and objectives will reward more creative builders and add more replayability.

It amuses me how this game was originally intended as "let's build demolition machinery" and has been reinterpreted by the users as "let's build all sorts of interesting things".

The air resistance and bouncing from the ground may slow it down
Problem is, a walker's max speed is limited to its leg speed, so you'd need a supersonic leg mechanism, and I don't think there are any parts that can go even close to that fast in this game.
my fave is obviously the orbital OBLITERON CANNON!...one laser sweep and a whole city block is gone.

This game could use more planes, there's definitely a lot of potential with them!

I think Satisfying is jumping around because the game finally recognizes built-up torque

Love the content scrapman, I almost never miss a video (granted I don't watch all the hide and seeks) also if a mechanical dodo spring 200 coming at me, I think I would make it a priority to hide, also, is there gonna be more Juno?

The suspension mug is a nice display on how springs work/ why they go in spirals. Engineers usually like to have springs behave in a linear fashion, the easiest way to achieve this is by deforming the spring as minimal as possible. the spiral makes it so that the deformation is happening by torsion along the whole length of the wire, continuously (here simulated by the bearings). Every bearing (or any tiny unit of length of the wire ) only has to twist a tiny amount, but the sum of all makes a significant change to the height. Awesome idea, really!

I think that game is fun looking but what happened to the olden days whenever you build creations in scrap mechanics with the boys

im taking a guess and saying that the 'bug' for the satisfying one is just the creation gaining preasure from being wound up and at some point the game freaks out and launches the creation
this game is massivley underrated and until today i was a part of the problem but now i love this game

day 68 of asking scrapman to do a multiplayer where everyone starts at the crashed ship with a craftbot already at the mechanic station and everyone has 30 minutes to build a vehicle from scratch, no glitches, thrusters allowed, after which everyone meets up and races along some road

Hey Scrapman! Seeing as the lasers have gotten much stronger in this game, do you think you could try my concept suggested to you a while ago? Make a samurai (just from the waist up) and have the sword as a laser, and have the samurai swing the sword crazy fast and cut the building, like it is in an anime or something. Just an idea, but it would be really cool to see! Thanks!
