Congratulations to the whole Victron team and everyone involved in this major upgrade. The new UI looks great and is now in line with the EV Charger UI. With the Brief and Overview option, everyone can have their preferred way of looking at their system. The responsiveness has also much improved over the old system. Will the VRM eventually be upgraded as well to reflect this new UI style?
I have been using the beta for most of 2024, very impressed, a major improvement and I hope that it will provide an easy platform to enable additional non-Victron devices, like the Ruuvi sensors to be displayed on the screens, this would allow me to get rid of my Node-Red dashboard.
I agree with interest in wind controllers. Would like to see ability to link multiple wind controllers together, so i could scale up to several wind generators, to be used to charge the solar system batteries, especially when sun is not available.
Hi, do you have any plans to produce a wind turbine controller compatible with small turbines with a power of about 2kw and working with a 48V battery ?
I would love to get control about which coloration to use for each "block" ... the thing I liked most about the old UI were the colors. I just don't dig the mono-chrome style.
Is there a way to project this UI on a iPad or other tablet like machine? Since you are limited by the cable length it would be cool if you could extend it using a tablet. Thanks
I was familiar with the old way to do remote settings. Are you sure that all the commands and configuration options are the same as in the remote settings of the old v3.42 release? Let me know how to go back to the old version.
Still not operational on Raspberry Pi running VenusOS it looks like? Any ETA on that please? I'm talking about the touchscreen, not remote (this one works fine).
@@BluBioBike remote works on the beta version at least, I didn't check after switching to this version if remote still works though, but that would be a bummer. I will switch back to beta if I confirm that.
Thank you Victron! By the way, if you have Multiplus II (ve. bus) and Phoenix 1200 (usb) in the same network. Both devices are listed and visible but on the main screen only Multiplus AC output is visible. That was the same in the previous versions. Is there any way to fix it?
This is equal in the new GUI, as there are too many options in systems a selection was made , having several different multi's in a system is not so common , so this will not become part of the overview
I wish you (victron) would create a version of this, that will work with non-victron equipment. I already have an eg4 system (18kpv lux), and would purchase this monitor system if it was available, and could communicate with my eg4 batteries and inverters thx
Never gonna happen - its like asking Ford to make a brilliant infotainment system and then also asking them to open source it to everyone else. Victron already make the software open source, so you can ask any other developer to do it for you, but Victron don't have a commercial interest to support other competing hardware.
Disappointed so far. After updating cerbo and EV the EV charger on the display only reports that it is still loading. The EV web application is not functional and only reports loading. Restarts done.
I prefer the old style better. The new design is very bland and sterile. Little use of color. Might as well be on an old monochrome monitor. I hope I will be able to select the older style in a future build as an option.
It looks to me like they already have that. If you want a dashboard full of data in every square inch, then NodeRed is your friend. For some of us, we prefer a clean summary interface with the ability to dive deeper into certain data with just a tap.
Installing 3.5 now ! nice ux upgrades! 2024 welcomes victron!
Thanks 👍👍👍
Congratulations on the major milestone! I’ve been playing with the beta for some time so it’s great to see this finally GA’d. 🎉

Looking good! Definitely will have to try it out.
Super gelungene Oberfläche... TOP!!!
Update was already done and i'm really surprised. Hel goed gedaan Victron.
Very nice UI..!!! It is so much nicer and more informative. I like it. Good work Victron!

Perhaps it will be introduced, but not any time soon I am afraid
Wonderful 🤗
Well done, thanks!

I am afraid we will not have any products for wind turbines.
Hi, do you have any plans to produce a wind turbine controller compatible with small turbines with a power of about 2kw and working with a 48V battery ?
if they are not gona make one they can show how to connect it to system and monitor it at least
There are no plans what soever to enter in that direction. With a smarthsunt in DC measure mode you can make a DC source visible of course
Very very nice!😊
congrats. give more power to the user, like set the active soc robust configuration thx
I would like to see amps, watts, and volts like you can on guimods
you can set it to show Amps if you prefer.

Great thanks 🙏, is there a way to display temperatures on the overview screen instead of tanks please?
there is a "card" which gives all the temp data , to front overview is electrical energy
@ sorry can you explain as I don’t understand

After updating you get the question if you want to use old, new. So its up to you wha you would like to use.
@johannesboonstra6917 Thank you

Not defined indeed. Of course the introduction on own hardware has priority
I can confirm this. New UI does not run on Raspberry Pi 3B. Neither with touchscreen nor remotely.

Will this GUI update display on the phone app as well?

I’m not impressed at all. Making a web version of VE.Configure won’t impress me either, but I definitely will appreciate that.
I don't like it .......
I L❤VE IT
☹ then 😀
Uhh I think you guys need good UI/UX engineer😢
Half the display is empty black while a very thin gauge showing power.
