I love this song. I played it for my grandmother when she was recently on hospice. She hadn’t been awake for some time, but she stirred at hearing the music. She seemed moved by it (in a good way). She passed later that night after playing this song. I’m glad I could share it with her.

Such beautiful, uncanny simplicity. They are all great, but it is wonderful to hear the gorgeous focus of the bass player on this tune. And nothing beats a viola for reaching deep into the heart of the music.

I heard this song a couple of days ago on the classical station on the radio and I loved it! However, when I shazam-ed it nothing would come up. So I quickly started recording it to get the lyrics and look it up later. After listening to the recording a good dozen times I finally got enough of the lyrics and found it! I LOVE THIS SONG! Jae Sevy Kinda did the same thing, except I heard it weeks ago and then today remembered I was supposed to look into who they were, and could only remember something about a flower open to everything. found the lyrics and then this video. A song this beautiful is worth the effort.
