I love this song. I played it for my grandmother when she was recently on hospice. She hadn’t been awake for some time, but she stirred at hearing the music. She seemed moved by it (in a good way). She passed later that night after playing this song. I’m glad I could share it with her.
I recently drove home from Yellowstone through the backcountry of Idaho and Oregon listening to your songs. Seeing the beauty of the land and hearing the wonderful music gave me a deep sense of joy. Life is wonderful. Thank you, ladies, for your gift.
Danced to the Bird Song with my daughter at her wedding - it just so reflects her awareness and optimism of the possibilities of life. One of the most cherished moments of my life! Such beautiful, uncanny simplicity. They are all great, but it is wonderful to hear the gorgeous focus of the bass player on this tune. And nothing beats a viola for reaching deep into the heart of the music.

I heard this song a couple of days ago on the classical station on the radio and I loved it! However, when I shazam-ed it nothing would come up. So I quickly started recording it to get the lyrics and look it up later. After listening to the recording a good dozen times I finally got enough of the lyrics and found it! I LOVE THIS SONG! Excellent job, ladies!
