Great video! You should nevertheless be aware that it’s forbidden to have your feet in the water while fishing, except for fly-fishing. If the luxembourgish police sees this you get a fine and you get forbidden to even buy the fishing license for the next ten years…

Lux-Fishing Don't know how you come to that but we released all our fish and bought a license for all we were doing, were not poachers but just two guys who enjoy some trout fishing once a year.

That you didn't take any fish is praiseworthy but still....You say you did pay the price of your licence for internal waters? Funny, do you have any idea how much does it cost to fish in the private waters? They are managed by private associations who cover the cost of regular inserting of big trout. Do you think you could fish as well in the public waters? No, you wouldn't, trust me. I understand you were not aware buy you could at least say sorry for the owners of the club (whom I don't even know) and don't pretend everything was ok. Next time you're here just let me know and we can fish well in all legality.
They do seem to fish in private waters, how come nobody reacted? On the other hand, as far as I know, wadding in inland (i.e. not border) waters is not prohibited per se.
I guess you are talking about the wster with the little fountains in it? For that i am nog quite shure and maybe you are right, but on the river itself all water we fished was in the license for shure.
+Willem Romeijn Waters where you can fish with a public license are well identified, you can see them inter alia here: app.visitluxembourg.com/files/4280.pdf. Everything not explicitly mentioned there is a private water, I know it may sound strange but that's the truth. You must understand that people fishing without a valid private licence are a real plague here so we're a bit sensitive about it.

Not impressed guys. You are fishing with big flashy metal lures with treble hook in private waters. Typical poacher tactic.Any idiot could catch fish like that way. Next time fish the public waters Take up fly fishing if you want to wade in the water . Spin fishing, you stay on the bank.

Yeah we don´t have water in Holland with trout, so we go every year on holydays... to catch em. Great fun!

Dat is niet duur voor een vergunning, in welke regio zat je als ik vragen mag?
Ik ga ook met een paar maten deze zomer richting Lux, weten alleen nog niet waar. Waar zaten jullie ongeveer?

Waar ik woon ( zuid limburg) kan je ook goed op forel vissen met plugjes of spinners. Moet u maar eens proberen! Hele leuke video meneer!
