Great video sir. I hate to bring it to you but Square Enix almost never fix their figures on the reissues, unless it received severe backlash by fans. The only figure that they actually fixed was PAK Remake Tifa, and they had to fix it on the second time after they failed with the extra faceplates.
I just got my Aerith and reviewed her. Head joint is a mess and the faceplates won't stay on for me. My Sephiroth hasn't arrived yet, but I would hate to be disappointed... I'm all in on the Bring Arts and PAK FF7 stuff but I really wish they tried harder with a lot of aspects of these.
Got Sephiroth this week and he’s definitely the most frustrating of the bunch (only one I’m missing so far is Barret so can’t judge him yet). Aerith is my favourite so far but objectively Tifa is the best figure of them all. Anyway, at this point we know how these figures are quality-wise so if you’re in, you’re in. I know, I am. Sites like Meccha Japan have them for a decent price (the reissues are almost half the price so it’s more worth waiting for those than jumping on the first releases). I don’t play with my figures so once I got a pose, I stick with it. They look fantastic on display and that’s why I am getting them. I have a few ideas for diaramas so might get a few doubles. Also, the Remake games are great. The story changes are honestly pretty minimal and for the most part just expand on what’s already in the original.
Got mine today. The feet were at a warped angle, and while trying to adjust them one foot snapped off. Got it glued back on but very disappointed with how brittle it is. I won't be buying the rest of the range after this
I just got my Sephiroth today. Completely agree with everything you said. I think it is ridiculous for a figure in this price range to have such poor build quality. Tolerances are all over the place, and the design of the neck peg is beyond amateur; how could anyone make that and not realize the head will just constantly fall off? FFVII, like many people, is extremely nostalgic for me. The idea of owning a set of high quality imports of the whole cast was extremely appealing to me, but I was only willing to pre-order Sephiroth due to my previous experience with Bring Arts. It is so disappointing, if it was any other character I would just sell it and be done. Maybe I can salvage him by switching out his joints with Figma joints, and some other fixes. But that's it, I'm done with Bring Arts, every other import brand in the same price range makes better stuff.
I can sadly confirm he is not. I might try to fix his joints and replace the neck joint with something else (maybe a Figma joint if I can find an extra), but on its own, absolutely not. Basically insulting that SE thinks these are worth what they are charging. If Figma released a figure this bad, they would be drowning in backlash.
I wish Square would give tamashii their license so we could get sh figuarts of these.
Or jada
Unless there's a anime made it ain't happening.
Let Jada focus on what they want to do. In particular Capcom stuff not just street fighter stuff either
These figures look awwwwwwwesome!!!! but for what they cost they should have been made A LOT better quality wise

Yeah, I figured. I just want the figures and be done with this toy line. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it

Please tell me… WHERE DID YOU GET HIM FROM??!😱😱😱
amiami
Damn. I wanted Sephiroth.
Goddamn, I thought Tifa was rather mediocre, but compared to these she seems like one of the better figures in the line
So basically Sephiroth isn't worth it.

The remakes have an awful story. Good decision.
