This is kind of an insane deck because isnt the blue eyes itself like $200+ good condition? Fuck me. i remember going to the store as a kid and getting the original yugi and kaiba for like $20 each. If only I had known.

I remember a shop from when I was child sold Japanese product for Yu-Gi-Oh! and my dad bought a Japanese Kaiba Structure deck for me. Those decks were the best even if we couldn't use them. Common Crush Card, 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons and an Ultimate Dragon

Actually the reason that is his name is because in Japanese 一つ (hitotsu) means "one of..." and 目 "me" (pronounced "meh") means "eye" so 一つ目 (hitotsu-me) means "one eyed". Therefore his name translates to "The One Eyed Giant"

Man, the memories. My friends and I barely knew English so reading the effects on some cards was quite something. Many years later, in another place, I remember being a bit surprised when asked to "duel again" by a friend of mine. See, back when I first started playing this game, we completely disregarded the whole 3-duels-in-a-match thing. I guess that was the anime influencing us, but we also didn't really see another reason to duel again. It was win or lose.
I remember when both me and my brother got Yugi and Kaiba's starter decks for Christmas. We reenacted a lot of dueling scenes from the cartoon.

Its OP if the duel went long and many monster are in graveyard. It is anime effect i think, like mystical elf give power to blue eyes

Hey man, Giant Soldier of Stone will do work against this deck. As a kid, I always looked at the total stats on the >=4 stars to decide if I should play them, and giant soldier of Stone collectively has 3300 points of stats total. Crazy when you compare it to La Jinn or Gemini Elf.

I remember opening both of those decks. They were the first ones my brother and I opened. I had Dark Magician and he had Blue Eyes. Seeing those cards brought back some awesome memories. It's crazy to think that was 15 years ago. Thank you.

My mom put BOTH of the OG structure decks in my school cone. The decks came out like a month before my school started :) And the best thing about it was that i had TWO blue-eyes in my SDK!! I was the king on my school :D

Comparing the four basic starter decks, Kaiba's cards had less synergy, but i guess its somewhat balanced since Blue-Eyes was so strong on its on and with the few cards that can power it in Kaiba's deck.
Ah, the nostalgia. I know I've got both starter decks sleeved up still in excellent condition at my aunt's house somewhere because my folks always made me keep my cards in notebooks and would buy me sleeves for them, but my aunt and I aren't on good terms atm....

Man, I remember when my local mall used to have events where vendors would sell stuff all over the walking part of the mall, and these decks released. I was so excited when my parents bought them for me. Even back then, I knew I would be hooked for life.

It is 2007-2009. And i played since 2002 when i was 4 YO. I already have an iconic cards that my friend really carving. Its non original card though

In 6th grade I told my friend I liked yugioh and he said he would give me his cards. I expected a few commons, but to my surprise, there were a bunch of secret rares and an sdk 001 blue eyes!

Still got my first Blue-eyes from one of these packs :') Got it in a black card cover and a second cover of one of those thicker plastic cases. I keep it in a old box next to my god card set ^^ Good memories.. The best are always the childhood ones ^^

Saw this video and saw Swordstalker, that brings back memories of time where I would play Duelists of the Roses on the Playstation 2 and that card was OP. If I'm not mistaken that card had an effect in that game where you gained 100 (or 300) ATK points for every monster in your graveyard which was broken considering that you could discard up to 4 monster cards per turn.
Just imagining if that were the real Swordstalker in today's world would be broke. Because he could fit into almost any deck as the late game sweeper.
I'm sitting here like "how the hell does this guy have almost 400k subs from just unboxing videos? Why do people watch this stuff?" as I am watching the video actually fairly intrigued to see the slick original Blue-eyes opened from that plastic wrap... XD It's stupidly satisfying!

I gotta say, old yugioh was so much more fun than new. I play the new, and even meta every now and again (when i can stomach the same 3 decks over and over again) but there's something to be said about how enjoying the slower paced old version of the game. But maybe that's just the nostalgia.

It was 10 dollars in Vegas at a target when I went It was like 3 years ago and ik it was rare I asked my mom for ten and she said no yugioh was the devil and it was the the only pack left I had to leave it behind at the target haven't forgot about that sad moment😔

Also, the reason they changed magic cards to spell cards was due to Wizards of the Coast suing because they owned Magic the Gathering and sounded too similar.

I kept those cards for the longest time till puberty hit :(. Wish I would've known it would cost a mollinia to get the original starter deck and especially booster.

Manscaping Advice:
If you got a beard that grows in kinda patchy, just trim it so the shorter parts can catch up to the longer parts. It will take longer to get to the length you want since youre cutting it, but itll be even.
