At 3:50, the only room that I can think of of the original that does anything remotely close to this is the optional sitting room before Sue Pea, in which you use have to set some candles on fire, catch 5 gold ghost, then two fire variants show up forcing you switch to water. But never the same situation like that where there’s more than one element type for ghost.
4:02 I think there was some Element-changing required in the Hidden Mansion's Kitchen and the room before the girl ghost scared of wetting the bed in the vanilla game.

You have to pull the tablecloth off first in order to draw out the Boos or their decoys.
The Boos on the tables you couldn't find were "in" or under the table cloths
They do the element changing in the room before Sue Pea in the original
This Hack is pretty cool I just wish that they hid keys and stuff in the environmentas well as chests like the base game
