I think Ms. Bacall did the right thing. I personally think he will always be my favorite actor. I think I have all of his movies. I never saw him in a bad movie. To me, he was "Da Man"!

I don't think anyone would want to be pictured in their last days. And, I think it;s good that the photos that were taken in his good days should be promoted rather ones of him in his last days. They probably weren't very flattering.
