Riley is so fascinated with Elevators. So I know he will appreciate this yt on how to use the elevator. Why did they have to make it so complicated? Lol😅
I think they "out smarted" themselves. They didn't realize that most people are not going to take the time to read the instructions that are posted above the deck selection panel. :(
This is one of those times when something sounds good in theory, but they didn’t think deeper about the application. 1. Drunk people. 2. Sick people in a hurry 3. Little kids 4. People with cognitive disabilities 5. Inattentive people 6. People with short memories 7. People.
This is gold for a first time cruiser! Thank you 🙏🏼😅
You’re welcome
I love those elevators. When we were on Panorama last year, they seemed to have saved a lot of time.
I agree - They are great when used correctly

Do these "smart elevators" run faster to be able to shorten the wait time for passengers?
That was the intent, but without everyone using them properly, they are worse than traditional elevators (in my humble opinion)
@@TheBeachLife makes sense
Why can’t you select the deck once for all 5 ppl?
The way the elevators are designed to be used, it expects you to select the deck for the number of people entering the elevator

I agree. They should have never bothered doing this on the cruise ships
What was the point of Carnival doing this?
I think they thought they would reduce the wait time, but with them not being used properly, I think the wait is longer than traditional elevators.
Bad, bad idea.
I agree. They should have stuck to the traditional elevators
