California prison program allows inmates to assist in firefighting efforts

Among thousands of firefighters in California that continue to battle devastating wildfires, there are almost 1,000 prison inmates volunteering to assist them. The CBC's Mark Carcasole discusses the details of the program, which allows incarcerated people to shorten their sentences by working as firefighters.
