To address the growing need of engineering talent with skills in digital technology, TCS, in partnership with leading academicians across India, has designed a 4 years undergraduate programme on Computer Science titled “Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS). This course curriculum is designed based on the suggestions given by the TCS, which benefits the students in enhancing their employability skills by making them capable of using the latest computer technology in developing a business management system. The objectives of this course are to cultivate students in Understanding of Contemporary Technology, Understanding of Technology Abstraction, Knowledge of Common Business Principles and Innovation Ability, and Strong in Ethics and Life Value.
The students are exposed to learn the recent trends such as Computational Statistics, Software Development Models, Design Thinking, Cognitive Science & Analytics, Machine Learning, Financial Management, Services Science & Service Operational Management, Marketing Research, and Marketing Management.

First of all college doesn't matter as in if its private,it's near about same.Just make sure different companies visit your college.So at least you would get all the opportunities

Do all companies allow csbs students along with cse (without specialization) student ? Aur csbs mein kya cse se jyada padhna padta hai due to the management related subjects ?? ...pls dada clear this doubt
Yes,you are allowed by all the companies no restriction on that and higher education too.And coming to the point of how much extra subjects are there,You can check out the link given in the description box to know about the syllabus.or Jada in the sense depends upon person to person but pakkar k chalo approx 8 subjects in each semester.

after doing CSBS is there job opportunities in both business field and IT sector...
There are plenty of job opportunities and you can sit for any multinational company's placement drive both on campus and off campus and it would give you a slightly more benefit in the interview as you would have an extra knowledge of business acumen too .One more thing it's expected that IT companies would hire you for Tech job roles more than non tech job roles as this degree is of Btech.All the best

On campus placement drive is fully depends upon your clg, nothing to do with the CSBS stream.The companies that visited our clg were TCS, Accenture,Wipro,EY,Emami etc.

Both the courses are fantastic but if you purely look for better placement opportunities then it would be CSBS as in the end you will be joining IT sector and Core Ece related jobs are rare.All the best and discuss with your parents and teachers😊

Csbs is specialization course of cse
But AI & ML is not specialisation of cse

I am now confused between CSBS and Cse with specialization with AIML.
Actually CSBS is available in my favourite college and cse(aiml) is available in another college.
Both are good college(equall in all)

If you have an inclination in Business then choose CSBS or else if you want stay in CSE then choose AIML

Hello sir...Both the streams are good but i would suggest that ask your daughter about her interest and then take a decision on which stream to choose.
They say, we can't opt for higher studies since csbs doesn't have NBA accreditation.. Is it true?
I don't think so it's true as one of friend is doing MTech from IIT after doing this course.Even the management from TCS told us that there will be no problem if you want to pursue higher studies as this course is Aicte approved.

Yes ,you are eligible for higher studies from IITs and as well as from Abroad(MS) too this course is AICTE approved.

As per our year there was no difference when it comes to placements.And to know about a college you have to ask the seniors of CSBS.
Is csbs more difficult than cse?
I would not be able to quantify that but yes the syllabus is more than normal CSE.

It's actually good as it will help in your AI/ML subjects as well as in some other computer related subject.

I don't think there is any issue.When we joined the course at that time it was only available in 3 colleges only through India

All AICTE approved courses are valid in others countries too.I don't think it will be a problem but make sure to research a bit as i don't have enough knowledge on this
Hi, i heard that if the course doesn't have nba accreditation then its invalid in abroad so if i did this course can i abroad for job?
Frankly speaking, I don't have any idea regarding it But as far as I know all Aicte courses are approved in foreign countries and if you have enough skills then course would not matter for company nowadays.I would request you to research a bit upon the NBA accreditation thing.All the best
I'm not sure but I heard nba accreditation will be given once 2 to 3 batches move out with placements from the clg.Since CSBS department has started in 2019 and the placements haven't done yet.
Once 2 to 3 batches move out with placements,NBA accreditation will be granted.This is what I heard I'm not sure about this.

If you want to do Mtech then you have to do it in any computer related specialization.It's mandatory criteria prescribed by AICTE ,be it CSE or ECE or ME ,you have to do MTECH in related stream .You can't change your Stream but you can choose your specialization.And rest be assured that you can do Mtech from any college be it IITs,NITs,BITS etc.

Depends on your college Placement drive as you can also sit for other companies placement drive as this course is AICTE approved and you can pursue high education too.Our batch's highest placement was of 35LPA from Amazon.
