But Govinda through his actions also made it easier for directors to hire other actors. He is known to have come late to sets due to signing multiple projects at the same time. When his movies started to bomb, he became very superstitious to the point that he would cancel shoots saying that particular day was inauspicious to work. There are interviews of certain technicians and colleagues that I have watched where they did mention this. Overall whatever maybe the reasons, every person goes through ups & downs and very few are able to maintain their position for longer run.
