$599 for the backboard from Academy. The cement will vary based on location. In Texas, there are guys who offer as low as $3/sqft. Check your area for concrete pricing. 😉
Yes, the rods can be built on the pavement. If you build the pavement before putting the rods you’ll need to drill it. I suggest to get the backboard ahead of construction and read specific instruction on how deep the rods should go down on the ground. It may save you time. Hope this helps. Regards kabayan.
Good job Sir!
Fantastic job!
Glad you like it!
Great job. How much did concrete pad cost?
It was in the onset of pandemic and I was able to negotiate $5 per sqft. I believe prices vary on location. I live in the outskirts of Houston.
@@onthiscorner What’s the size of your court? I’m trying to budget with basketball net
@@afzalshaikh2128 it’s only 25’ x 30’. Enough for 3 on 3, a bit limited space but better than just on the car port. 😉
Hi
Where did you buy the basketball set?
What is the dimension of your backyard court sir?
Why does the backboard look crooked?
It maybe just the camera. It’s pretty even.
hi, just wondering is there existing sprinkler systems on the area where you put concrete? thank you!
Yes! About 4 of them. I just deactivated, closed and secured the valves and pour cement over.
How much did everything cost?

Hey there, did you put any drainage ?
Yes. We just added 6” PVC pipes to the original drainage and drains on the pavement.
You are a Filipino? Well ahhaha what is the size of that whole basketball court in sqm? Thanks
70 sqm. Lika, dayo na! 😉
Hello, kabayan. I'm planning on building one. Is the base for the hoop necessary? Can't you just mount it on the paved concrete itself? Mabuhay ka.
