    Thanks a lot for useful video. Kindly upload videos for LOR and SOP too

    Got confused at 6:25 . How much work experience is ideal for MEM in canada? and how much for MBA in canada?

    • @mindmintdiscussions2981
      @mindmintdiscussions2981  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Aditya, you can get admission to MEM(without co-op) even with 2 years of experience but it is beneficial only if you have prior management experience. Otherwise, you will be getting into jobs you have previous experience in. It is advantageous for people with min 4-5 years of experience and who are looking to go into the management side of previous work. For freshers or less experienced, MBA is highly recommended by us for starting your career in management. Another thing is- if you are less experienced and wanna go for MEM then prefer to take a co-op option that has the possibility to give you a start in Management.

      Yeah, we can suggest a few:
      University of Alberta- Master in Engineering in Engineering Management (MEng) Master of Science in Engineering Management (MS)
      University of Ottawa: MEng in Engineering management
      Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN): Masters of Applied Sciences in Engineering Management (MASc)
      University of Windsor: Masters in Engineering Management (MEM)
      University of Regina: MBA in Engineering Management
      University of Ontario Institute of Technology: Masters in Engineering Management (MEngM)

      Hi @Nasim, there are better chances to get into these universities: Lakehead University, University of Regina, Thompson Rivers University, and there are numerous colleges here that easily accept if you are interested to go into a college instead of a university. Let us know if you wanna go for colleges, we can suggest you some.

    hi, could you please tell me, which degree has more scope (MEng in Mechanical or MEM in Mechanical). Then what would you personally suggest?

    • @mindmintdiscussions2981
      @mindmintdiscussions2981  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Gowtham, meng in mechanical has more scope over MEM. But it depends on your background and interest. If you have more years of technical experience in mechanical like 5-6 years, then you can do any one of them. The number of years of previous experience and the industry you are experienced in plays a huge role here. For a fresher, we would definitely recommend Meng in Mechanical.

    Is engineering management technical degree , is there coding involved?

    • @mindmintdiscussions2981
      @mindmintdiscussions2981  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Atharva, good question. MEM is an amalgamation of both technical and management courses. So you can take courses related to data science or data analytics field which would require coding. But again this would depend on the university in which you are applying.

    • @mindmintdiscussions2981
      @mindmintdiscussions2981  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Abdullah, you should definitely give it a try. Preference is given to experienced applicants in this program but it depends on number of applicants. Highlight any your experiences gained during your Bachelors program.
      And if you want to go for management programs, we recommend you to check this one as it has good scope to enter management and the program is really good:
      catalogue.uottawa.ca/en/graduate/master-digital-transformation-innovation/#admissionsrequirementstext
      This has internships as well, you can get an edge to enter the market easily.

    What exactly Co. Op means

    • @mindmintdiscussions2981
      @mindmintdiscussions2981  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Coop is an internship program which is part of course. So in your course duration you can do 2 terms or 1 term full time job like internship. And interviews are done on campus and one can look for off campus as well. It provides an edge to enter the market as companies do post a lot coop jobs
