Yes, here my apartment soho suite for rent is USD$300 for 450 sq ft with free car park for real. This is normal rent price in Kuala Lumpur and surrounding city. Very affordable and accessible to market and shopping place. If you have car, many places have free parking.
Many thanks for this great video. My GF and I are in the final stages of relocating from Canada to the Far East. We are both 50+. Up until a month ago, we were sold on Thailand, particularly Pattaya/Jomtien. However, upon seeing a number of Malaysia videos (including yours), we now believe this will be the better choice for us. So far, George Town and KL are of the greatest interest to us.
It cost me about $65.00 USD to fill my vehicle tank when it’s 2/3 empty. Perhaps this winter I will travel abroad and live in SE Asia for the winter. Watching your videos is always a nice reminder that there is always cheaper places to live. Enjoy your time in KL.
It'll probably be cheaper if you do that. KL is very affordable and modern. Public transportation is good. You really don't need to carry cash because digital currency is widely used. Welcome.
Hello Damian great review on your condo really great value new and what a view you have. shopping mall close by condos are good value for long durations. Thank you for sharing take care .
Hello From CA and what am i doing in the US paying high gas prices, high rents, high everything and your living with a swimming pool in a great city! One question: is it safe to walk around at night from your apartment & riding the train? Public transportation in the US is terrible, dirty and dangerous! Great videos, keep them coming about affordable living and food places. Where was your delicious Indian food? Ditto2 Rita but still will take the plunge and travel in November. Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into your videos. I am so excited!😎😃🤪
It is very safe in Malaysia specially in KL as for a big city I never feels unsafe here even walking around midnight from train. Not mention as gas here is very cheap
Thanks Damian for this vlog. I wish I was at least 20 years younger without so much migraine and no osteoarthritis in my knees. I wish I still had the stamina to travel around. But I must be happy that I have the strength to go to Bali nowadays. BTW very nice condo in the city of KL.
What a great video, very informative, your condo much better value than a hotel room, hope you get to show a condo in the city. Look forward to your video tomorrow as always ✅
Great value for money Damian!👍🏽 Costa coffee is my favorite coffee in the world, enjoy! Have you ever had the pretzel hotdog at Auntie Anne’s? If not do yourself a favor and get one. If you are into Popcorn you should try Garrett Popcorn in KLCC or the Pavillion. Enjoy KL!

So reasonably priced, Units in KLCC are a bit more which is understandable. Bali has to watch out they do not price themselves out of the market. Lots of construction here all hires appartments.
I think it's US currency not AUD nice condominium is that one the smallest or there's still smaller like studio room are you allowed to have visitors like female friends 🤔 😀
Can someone tell me which apartment he’s in the name of it? What do I search on Google or Airbnb? I can’t seem to find that info in the video or description.
I'm staying in a condo in Bukit bintang, which looks exactly like yours, but I'm paying $1,900 for 1 months rental. I'm within walking distance to KLCC, and all utilities are included.
@@Chris-dw6cu yes, but it included utilities, gym, and sauna. A comparable NY condo in downtown Manhattan would cost you $3K to 5K. I was in Bukit Bintang a short walk to the Petronas Towers. I could have found cheaper accommodations, but I like being close enough to walk to all the hot spots.
Damaian go bit out of KL area, like Bangsar South, KL central area, Damansara Heights, Mont Kiara and Petaling Jaya…you will get nicer condo…and bigger..
Can someone recommend me some websites to find apartments like this? Might be studying abroad in KL next year so doing some research on accommodation for 12 months. ☺️
The place is very nice Damian, all this times i always stay in bukit bintang area whenever i visit Kuala Lumpur, but im really interested in your new apartemen.
Great video. How many train stops are you away from Bukit Bintang area? Yes, I would be interested in the IKEA video. Would love to see how different the cafe is to Australian ones.
As a student I lived on the 11th floor of a tower block overlooking the M6. Whilst your apartment has some lovely interior design touches, they really aren't so different. The tower block I used to live in was pulled down many years ago as it was considered an eyesore and unfit for human habitation. Really its all about marketing and hype.
Most of the condominiums will be pretty similar except you are someone who can stay at some fancy penthouse right. Also interesting fact is as Malaysia have much influence from Britain from the history right
