These are new licensed versions of the original design, but they are still great value for money and sound good. Not really suited to high volume levels playing bass-heavy music, but for more moderate levels in smaller rooms, they're very good indeed.
I have two pairs of 9.1, one used for my small home theater (7.1 set up) as main fronts driven by a Yamaha RXV863 and the other pair as my desktop speakers (2.0 set up) for my laptop driven by Aiyima A07 brick amp. I also had a pair of 12.1 which was supposed to replace the 9.1 for the main fronts but I find the highs to sharp. It can be tiring to listen to overtime which leaves an ear fatigue especially at mid-high frequencies. The bass however is a little better than the 9.1 (not far). I sold the 12.1 and kept the 9.1 instead. I also like the shape and look of the 9.1 much better especially with the grill off.

They are amazing little speakers, especially for that price.
These or mission lx2 mk2?
Hi could you use these as fronts on a 5.1 setup? Or use them as stereo speakers on a 2.0 or 2.1? Thank you mate
Sure you can, these are some of the best I've owned, I just ordered another two peers and a center to finish my setup.

@@angelodedios8025 Thanks for sharing that info, looks like 9.1 is hard to beat.
