Synopsis:
While trying to take her Master's Wanjun Sword, Zhaoyao Lu (Lu Bai) is ambushed and dies. She mistakenly believes Chenlan Li (Kai Xu), has something to do with the ambush. Five years later, Chenlan has taken over the position of the Wanlu leader, and Zhaoyao's mission is to seek revenge. She possesses the body of Zhiyan Qin (Yan Xiao). But she slowly starts to fall in love with him instead.

Watched Xu Kai as Fuheng in Yanxi Palace. Then watched him in Arsenal Military Academy. Wow. He was a really good and hilarious actor there. His chemistry with Bai Lu was soooo cute. I'm gonna watch the Legends to see more of them 🥰

This has been my favourite Chinese drama since I watched it, and I don't think anything can beat it
Well obviously you haven't watched otherr bests chinese dramas....i love xu kai but i won't be bias.there are better historical dramas than this one

Try to watch ashes of love and ancient love poetry, in so many cdrama I have watched, that 2 was my most favorite haha. In ancient love poetry the leading man was played by xu kai .. I guarantee that every episode is really worth to watch ☺️

Most of them are dubbed by voice actors. Confusingly, Xu Kai's voice actor is also named Xu Kai.
Came just after finished watching it. What to say abt this drama it was awesome in the first half with the badass FL very satisfying to watch..but in the second half the writer messed up the plot lil bit.. some scenes were really confusing with the back and forth of flashbacks..and the ML character was lil dull with the suppression of his power all the time couldn't get to see his intimidating nature and superpower fighting with the villains. But the casts have done a great job. Xu Kai is very young here his eyes were looking very innocent like a cute puppy and beautiful. Thought this drama might be the best of Xu Kai's bcoz of the soaring chemistry with the FL but not his other dramas are better than this atleast for me. And the ending, though it was happy ending didn't like it much could have been the best ending if they followed the novel's one ( as read somewhere). It's not bad though anybody who's interested watching such types of dramas or likes Xu Kai or the FL can watch it. Gonna watch Yanxi Palace next..m going backwards in watching Xu Kai's dramas.
