I miss this couple. even though the drama had a lot of flaws and annoying characters, I think about zhao yao and li chenlan a lot. they had so much chemistry and their romance was top notch
My first time being introduced to these two actors from watching the legend. The first couple of episodes was hard to get through because I couldn’t get over the fact that Xu Kai looked so much younger than Bai lu like a child. So I thought the pairing was strange. However, once I got into the storyline and saw Xu Kai’s mature look after he became leader, I was sold that they are a great match. Now I ship them and hope they make another drama/series together.
When Zhaoyao saved his life, he already bounded his life to her, he will follow and wait this girl forever. It is a kind of love you can see in our culture as well as in Chinese dramas, see "A lifetime to love" the male lead bounded and fall in love with the girl (Victoria Song), because of saving his life too. The price of trying to be killed by heroine many times, they may willing to face in order to get the love back from hers to them, which showing how big their love to the heroines.
But Chenlen know that Zhaoyao actually love him too ( 47:40 using the necklace magic : can read the heart feeling), but Zhaoyao's heart full of revenge for Luo Mingxuan at that time so covering her feelings to Chenlan. And do you ever heard that someone who drunk will say the truth? At the night Zhaoyao kiss him first time 42:07 , she say "I'm here to find you" it's mean that she's actually love Chenlan but can't realize it (because her angry is bigger than her love feeling), so when he was drunk, her body automatically went to Chenlan.
Yes, I followed it, but not all the episodes I watched for episode 10 are really a beautiful story. Very daring and cut her hair and entered the military with the men of the events of the story is very beautiful, some sad thing for losing her brother, but I loved her as an actress. A wonderful

But back then when they were nobodies, I mean when during the shootings of their two consecutive dramas, the romance was undisturbed, as you could imagine. So just remember the good old times and move on. Bad timings. They do not have any working-together plans as far as we know.

Her kissing was fine. She plays a revengeful demonist. Kissing isn't suppose to be stiff no matter the time period. I like Cheng Xiao but you can tell she's a newbie. When she becomes more comfortable and confident her acting will get better.

So he definitely wanted it lol and enjoyed more than her. He is just the shy quiet submissive one in the relationship). So how do you expect her to act her character then? Being shy, timid and stay still to wait for the male lead to kiss her like other dramas? Lol You can watch their bts in AMA where her character is different and doesn’t need to take initial in love scenes bc he is the aggressive one there. Don’t judge if you know nothing about her, their background or drama just because you are a shipper. They cut ties or at least showing people they cut ties so that people like you can leave her alone. So please leave her alone
@@Kayvid002 Lan Zhan basically raped Wei Ying in the book too. It's one of the main reasons why i prefer the character from "The Untamed" better. Since i watched the show first the character from the book made me hella uncomfortable. The lead couple in "The Legends" and "The Untamed" are good characters. The actors performed their parts very well. The books or dramas aren't perfect, i haven't seen or read anything close to perfection, ever. BUT the actors in these dramas did a good job with what they were given.
