I love seeing your progress:3 I used to have dreads but my mom made me take them out, but I’m getting them back soon I’ve got super curly hair that’s a nightmare to manage and have dreads made my life so much easier and made me feel very confident about my appearance for once
I would be at one year too if I hadn't taken them out...but mine were so short. I already put on back in and plan to do my whole head after this summer so my hair can go grow out some more. I want to be able to pull them back at work and I couldn't do that last year at all. I miss my dreads.... :(
I will be hitting the two year mark with my dreads at the end of April, on the 29th. It's nifty to see where I might be in another year, two years, five years, etc... Always love seeing a new upload from you.

Bryan Sanchez I did see one on partial dreadlocks, you would have to look back on his older videos. I've had mine for nearly two years, been watching his videos for nearly three. He has touched on certain topics multiple times, maybe he could do another video on partial dreadlocks. I would like him to do another about bleaching/colouring dreadlocks. I see a lot of people make mistakes, especially keeping the bleach on too long, particularly at the roots, and I've seen several people say that you want to squeeze the dye into the body of your dreads, "so that it colours all the hair", which is not good imo, that just means it will take longer and perhaps more than one wash to get it all out, plus you don't see the inside of the dread anyways, which means your wasting dye.
damn dude this is actually cool as hell very few teens show this sort of dedication to anything i just hope those natty dreads been to a few phish shows along the way.
What's your biggest advice to say, obviously you started your locks with Long hair opposed to someone who started there Locks with way much shorter hair and do you recommend crocheting as I have as supposed to just Palm rolling and what not...? Thanks LAZY DREADS!

First of all: thank you for all your super helpful videos! I've watched a lot of your videos a few years (4?) ago. But just recently decided to go for it and get dreads using the neglect method. I'm 13 weeks in and my shampoo is getting close to finished. I used the Bodyshop, rainforest shampoo which doesn't contain sulfates parabens and silicones. I did really like it but I want to try a good dreadlock shampoo. I'm looking into the super dread shampoo bars. But since they're made in the UK, and I'm Dutch, I have to pay international shipping. Which makes the shampoo bars a bit more expensive. I was wondering if you still think they're worth the money if they would be 12/13 pounds instead of 8... Again: Thank you for all your insight tips and tricks!

It’s just, my hair is really long, like, below-my-waist long, it’s so healthy and I just grew it back to its original length from donating it 3-4 years ago... and I don’t know if i’m ready to give up all the remarks on my hair for dreads even though I LOVE how they look on other people..... and ugh I kinda feel like imma do it sooner or later so I might as well just do it sooner......... idkkkk

Yea I cut them to keep them around the same length - when they get longer they annoy me and I cut them back! Definitely thicker though!
I think more people would keep their dreads if they kept them to a realistic manageable length
