Hinata has said that she doesn’t want a lot of lines before because she wants to feel more confident in speaking English. She has gotten more lines since then
One thing i absolutely love about XG that is 100% different than every group out there is each member is such a unique elite talent. Its like 7 superstars came together to form this dream team called XG. No exaggeration these young queens are special. And their vocal line is so unique. Hinata, Juria and Chisa all bring a different vibe and tone. But all are angelic. Hinata's voice is like sunshine

Hinata is Korean-Japanese so she may have been able to speak Korean before becoming an XG member. I am so happy that she has become a vocalist as her voice has a deeper alto tone than Juria and Chisa and so complements the vocal lines immensely.
Hinata was tearing up while Juria was singing this behind the scene. It was so emotional. The original singer IU said that this song was hard but Juria did really well. She made it her song.
Hinata has a great voice. Can’t wait for the next songs with her having more lines. Her voice is powerful and adorable

The shortage of lines before this most recent comeback was self imposed. :) But she's smiling and glowing center stage this comeback. 💙Hinata is my bias. She stole my heart as soon as she started singing in Shooting Star. I think Left Right is my favorite song period. And Juria's voice does make me want to cry. Such an angel.
Love your reaction to Juria (my bias) and Hinata vocals. Hinata vocal is underrated and you are right that she need more line for their next comeback.

As always the VOX line delivers - the BTS for the VOX lines was cute though Hina-chan was crying when watching Juria's performance.
But honestly I really love Hinata's performance, I mean i love her voice - it's such a vibey, cool sound and the delivery.. and Hinata is such a freaking visual. Her part is just chef's kiss.
BTW Hinata is half Korean, her grandparents are first generation Koreans migrated in Japan.
Also, Hinata not getting enough lines is her choice, not the management or something. I mean she can perform her part as we see in the videos and choreos - but i have read somewhere that she's not just confident in singing her part (though she can practically shine on her voice alone) and the fact that this was before their debut. You can even see in the Interviews she's just like Cocona haha. She's so shy.
She got confident though, through time and with the help of her 'Sisters'
She improved a lot as we can see with Shooting Star & Left Right.
BTW have you seen XG DAYS? They have Juria's and Cocona's Bdays there. It's so cute you'll love it.

Even as a trained singer who is admittedly a tad snobby about ppl thinking they’re good at singing sometimes, XG vocals are genuinely SO amazing, from a purely sounds good but also a technique perspective.

I adore them both sm. There's something about Hinata's voice that's just so sweet and soothing. She really started to blossom during this comeback which makes me so happy for her. As for Juria, she just exudes sheer talent and she owned that cover. I love how those two and Chisa have such different and distinct vocal qualities that complement each other so well (which they showed off in their live band performance).
What really hits hard about Juria's cover is that Dear Name was IU's tribute song for the 306 lives lost from the sinking of the Sewol ferry, the majority were high school kids...
And YES Hinata! Her vocals are amazingly clear, warm and bright. She sounds like sunshine. I really hope we get BIG focus on her next comeback

In the bts video, Chisa (VOX #2 Nobody love) and Juria (VOX #3 Dear Name) is actually sing live in the studio when they filming. And Hinata was teared up because of Juria live performance.
This video was the beginning of my bias journey. I got into XG with the cypher so strong, decisive presence yeah yeah; then browsing into their page I finally ended up on this and got completely overhelmed, depite not knowing one word of korean it struck me to the soul! Getting to know Juria was a natural consequence after it and her personality won me over easily. What's funny is the contrast between her bubbly personality and this video but it still makes sense, especially after hearing the letter for Cococa's birthday.

You right, and I also think she is very shy, so she needed to have a little more time to feel confident for singing in english .She sounds amazing, perfect trio with Juria è Chisa.
@Beata yes she said she was super shy and joining XGALX was actually the first time she did anything like that. I always told people give her time and when she is more comfortable she will show why she is on XG. This group has crazy talent, an interview I watched on japanese TV an expert on kpop said there has never been that much talent in one group (japanese) ever before. Girls like Jurin and Harvey usually stay in the modeling stage and girls like Chisa usually stay on TV. They have all model at some before joining XG.
