@@Hope-jz4yi Omg I completely agree with you. The reason I started watching TVD was because of Damon. I literally fell in love with Damon and Delena (as well with the show of course). I also loved Ian so much since he was the person who played Damon, and besides, I really loved his personality in real life. However, after Nina left the show his attitude and behavior changed in such a negative way. Let’s get something clear briefly: I don’t justify the hate comments he and his wife received. But the way he lunged at ALL Delena shippers and just Delena was so wrong! It felt he took his changed attitude towards Delena so personal that he also lunged at Nina and their ended relationship. In an interview he said “it’s not real” about Delena but somehow I got the feeling he was targeting at his relationship with Nina. He wanted to make clear what he had with Nina was over (and yes I understand why he did it but at a given point it felt like he wanted to deny what they had together lol). It also felt like that he was mad at Nina and because of this he hated Delena. Therefore, I was and still am so disappointed in him. If he’s happy, I am happy for him but the way he acted as an actor wasn’t professional. It’s okay to mention that you are mad about the hate you receive, but come on why the need to bring it up in such offensive way that you don’t ship/love Delena anymore because of this. You can’t hold the entire fandom responsible for this. My love for Ian unfortunately diminished because of this, at a current point I really was so annoyed by him that I kept myself from watching the TVD interviews after Nina left the show because I was afraid this would affect my love for Damon. I am so happy it didn’t since I love Damon so so so much. It is just sad that he was being this disrespectful..
