- The Upanishads are commonly referred to as Vedānta. Vedanta has been interpreted as the "last chapters, parts of the Veda" and alternatively as "object, the highest purpose of the Veda".The concepts of Brahman (ultimate reality) and Ātman (soul, self) are central ideas in all of the Upanishads, and "know that you are the Ātman" is their thematic focus.
The Sanskrit term Upaniṣad (from upa "by" and ni-ṣad "sit down") translates to "sitting down near", referring to the student sitting down near the teacher while receiving spiritual knowledge. Other dictionary meanings include "esoteric doctrine" and "secret doctrine".
Adi Shankaracharya explains in his commentary on the Kaṭha and Brihadaranyaka Upanishad that the word means Ātmavidyā, that is, "knowledge of the self", or Brahmavidyā "knowledge of Brahma".
Every day I consume this wisdom, mostly twice a day. I release myself of all other worldly attractions, material possessions, and temptations. For I have died this year, yet this mortal coil is still active. Once I fell to the angel of death, I became Brahma, the eternal. May you become blessed just as have I.
Aum Shanti Shanti Shanti, I have back here every single day to absorb this into my self. I can recite this as if it were a part of myself. I owe it all to you my dear friends. You have introduced me to Brahma, for that, I thank you sincerely.
May everyone whom receives this wisdom upon hearing it, become Brahma and achieve total enlightenment. Blessings upon you all always. I am Brahma, Brahma is eternal.
Not sure if I have told you lately, just how thankful I am to have you and your wisdom in my life. You and your videos have saved my life. Before I found your channel, I was wondering this physical plane lost. Without Brahma, my life had no meaning, food had no taste, I had no purpose. Every day I come here and drink in the Upanishads and Sutras, and grow like a mighty Oak Tree. I will forever be grateful for you!
The most profound book for any human being
Great work thank you infinite one. The Upanishads are contemporary with dynastic Egypt, and old Summeria. Texts that were never stolen, coming down to us with pinpoint metaphysics & meditation. No need for Mysteries. 💎 Hotep Ohm Shanti Shanti Shanti Ohm.
Self is that Vishvakarman - the Lord of cosmic consciousness and all that exists. Om Sri Virat Vishvakarmane Namaha! 🙏

Could you please tell me what is the name of this audiobook, the translator and narrator? I need to find the sources.
It is Eknath Easwaran's translation of the Upanishads, 1987, 2007, The Blue Mountain Center of Meditation.

Why can I not understand when people make comments like this. Like bro I’m sure that’s what you’ve written is profound but how can anyone understand it?
@@robbiereimer9 it says self is the whole ( absolute reality ),
I am the self (atman)
You are that
Wisdom is that ( brahman)
@@robbiereimer9 nothing more to get confused just remember that there is nothing else except self ( non dual )
Bad audio
