Being the owner of a painting company in anchorage, i work for a few realtors. Core being one. Wasilla is a pretty great place. Eagle river is pretty good as well. I wont be a Shameless guy and put my name on here but love your channel!
Palmer is the best city. I live in Wasilla. Used to live in Palmer. Definitely going back. They are right next to one another but it's Palmer all the way! Small town feel, unified, safe, direct line to Hatcher pass as well, and direct line to Anchorage AK. Closer than Wasilla.
Wasilla encompasses a LARGE area. It's true that in order to get to those larger lots and refreshing residential areas you have to pass through about 3 miles of stop n go traffic through the heart of the city/business zone. It's not too bad all things considering....except for Rush hour Mon-Fri. Or if there is a special event going on.
@@alaska_realtor We were warned about July here. The combo of tourists & dip netters make the roads a mess. But we love it up here & are glad we moved. 1 year mark in October !!!
A in depth alaska city guide series is a great idea, a dedicated video on the vibe/culture of each of the more popular cities/areas in alaska
@@iShowUnusualBehavior Thank you! After 700+ videos, I have to use any and all ideas I can find 😃
Can we have a buying raw land video in the future? 😊
wasilla is awesome if you love being stuck in traffic at 3pm on a wednesday
@@patrickcoyne1292 That is my jam

@@kristenspencer9751 100% if you can schedule your workday so you’re not going home at peak times, that is best
Soldotna - Except during the month of July.
@@augermage8645 Because of dip netting season?

Your English is very good
Second best IMO ... best -- Soldotna-Kenai; third best -- Palmer.
@@scottanderson4924 Really? Palmer is 3rd? Tell me more.
Honestly, I agree with this comment. But I'm a bit bias since I bought property near kenai 😉
I'm always trying to support you in your videos when I'm able. You, my good young man, are awesome!

If the Knik-Fairview area is considered part of Wasilla, then..... yes.
Knik Fairview is soooo sunny and generally warmer than other areas. Lots of birch, totally different vegetation/climate micro-zone.
@@kristenspencer9751 That area has a lot to offer. I flew over it yesterday in a floatplane and got to see it really well for the first time 👌
