- When it comes to living that PEW PEW Life, any self-respecting gun collection has three tiers:
The “One Night Stand” Guns: The ones you’d sell the moment something shinier catches your eye.
The “Rainy Day” Side Pieces: Guns you’d part with only if times get really tough.
And then there’s the “Cold Dead Hands” Guns.
These are your Forever Guns, which must be pried out of your cold, dead hands.
Why does a gun get elevated to Forever status? Maybe it’s sentimental, maybe it’s just a joy to shoot, or maybe it costs an arm and a leg, and you’re too invested to let go.

My Remington 870 is a cold, dead hands gun. It's a real work horse. The pump is as smooth as oiled glass, and it was my 1st shotgun, so it has a sweet spot in my heart ❤

My father traded a model T car for a Remington 870 shotgun in 1950. I’m 60 years old, and I have been shooting that very same gun since I was 15 years old it’s now my home protection gun sitting between my dresser and the closet door……
Never been a better pump shotgun. Cant speak for last 25 years but know this before. 870 was perfection in a pump shotgun. (And model 700 was perfection in an out of the box rifle).

The only forever gun i currently have is my h&k usp compact .45acp I got from my dad after he passed. Crazy story on that gun. Got stolen out of his desk at work after they smashed a window to get in then 12 years later local PD called him asking if he wanted it back. It was taken care of the whole 12 years the dude had it. Other than a few scrapes from when cops arrested the dude the serial number and shit was still on it and they couldn't link it to any crimes so he got it back now I have it.
Even if it's linked to a crime you should get it back, eventually. My friends dad had a glock 17 stolen and like 20 years later he gets a call from the fbi asking if he wanted his gun back and telling him it was used in multiple killings. He got it back but didn't want it because of it being used in murders and gave it to my friend who still has it.
@@bobbyjohnson2433 They're not magic swords from fantasy fiction; they don't become "good" or "bad" because of what was done with them. Look at it this way - most murders done with stolen guns are predominantly murders of gang members by other gang members, which might mean that the gun was used unintentionally to effectively do good by a bad guy removing another bad guy. Net positive.

USP is iconic.
@@DTreatz I don't run optics so don't care about an optic plate. The p2000 mags works in the usp and I believe the vp9 mags work as well so you can have larger capacity mags and it definitely has a proprietary rail just doesn't have a picitiny rail.
Been around firearms for over 60 years and I have bought gun collections over the years and still have all but 3 which I gifted to others that deserve them. Went to auction once and 5 brand new Rossi switch barrel (22/.410 ) for 100.00 each and gifted 1 to a boy scout whom is now a marine sniper and still has it😊😊😊😊😊😊

One of my forever/ never sell guns: is a Ruger 44mag, semi-auto Carbine rifle. It was the first gun my Dad purchased as a civilian after serving in Vietnam. Manufactured in 1973. He deer hunted in Northern Michigan with it, untill the mid. 1980s. It was like a second wife to him and I inherited it after his passing 2018. I loved my Dad very much, he'd always take me fishing and hunting with him. My Dad, my best friend and buddy all in the same person. Now I deer hunt with in and its kinda like he's still hunting with me. Great video series 👍 😊
First off , sorry for your loss . Though I never bought that 44 , I always wished I would have bought one . I'd jump on one if they brought it back . My first gun after I got back was a M-1 carbine . RIP brother .. doc 68-71 RVN / Army .

I watch in awe. I’m Australian as you know we’re not allowed guns so when I see your videos I get an empty feeling in my stomach. We used to be able to have semi autos but now I can’t even teach my grandson how to shoot a BB gun without jumping through hoops and shelling out cash only to be told no.
Sounds like you all need to take your country back. I couldn't imagine living in a place that takes away God given rights.
That is insane for a nation with such a rich history of outback frontiersman culture to throw that spirit of independence away. BB guns aren't what anyone would consider deadly especially to humans and are far less deadly than a bow and arrow to a human. I hope you can at least still teach your grandson archery for self disciple and for a survival skill. Compound Bow and Crossbow hunting are a culture in America too. It's funny that even convicted felons can buy guns here that were made in 1899 or before because they aren't classified as firearms, you can buy them and have them shipped to your house with no background check or registration required.
I still own my Beretta 92 F, and my Ruger GP100 4"Full Lug 357... My 1st and 2nd handguns... my Marlin 336 30-30 1st Deer rifle AND my grandfather's Winchester 1886 45-70 24" Octagon full mag tube 9 1/2 lb BEHEMOTH that I shot my very 1st Whitetail with. Those are just some of MY forever guns!
I bought a virtus upper conversion kit, slapped it on an Anderson 80 lower, dropped a geissele trigger in there and a POF np3 roller cam pin. Got the acog rco on it with an RMR… love that gun

@@dashcammer4322 I don't sell my stuff because I bought a python back in like 88 and it's still a beaut. The walking dead comes out and now it's super popular. Imagine had I sold it. It's an original that's just one example of the many I have. Plus if I bought it, I liked it so I'm keeping it.

Thanks...hope can find one for yourself. Great deer rifle and lighter weight than my shotgun for hunting southern michigan. Our state now allows straight wall handgun cartridge rifles in shotgun hunting zone. Lot of folks here are using .450 bushmaster, .350 legends but I love my .44mag. Thanks for serving

Finally built a BCM bfh chf barreled 11.5 ar with sprinco springs, eotech exps 3, geiselle trigger, needs a silencerco velos to finish it off, those lbp cans are amazing and its now my ride or die shtf rifle, love it 😂

Mine is my Blackout Defense AR and I love her. Like your Sig description she’s a little heavy but I like that. Their custom zero travel trigger… she’s the best. You should check them out if you haven’t seen them. They’re doing some pretty cool things.

First gun I sold was a Mossberg 930 JM Pro. I traded it for an A400 Wraith.
As for 300 blk? I just can't bring myself to get into it. It is certainly a quiet round but even a 5.56 with a similar barrel will do more damage....though it's louder even with a suppressor.
I'm not one to judge though. One of my dead hands guns is a Desert Eagle in .44.
The I like the blackout because it's kind of like having two guns in one, supersonics can be about like 7.62x39 power and subsonics are about the same as a 45acp with a flater trajectory. Same magazines but ones quite and one is not.

I love my Virtus brother, with both uppers.
The only one I've ever sold was a Ruger NM Blackhawk in .357 with a 4-5/8 barrel. That's one of very, very, few things in life I've regretted doing. My first wife is the second.

My mk18 is so dope! Spent some money on it, and just put the suppressor on it today! Which kinda means I can’t really sell it if I want to, but that’s my forever pew.
I gotcha, Love this series idea. I cannot wait for next installment. I will be looking for virtus on secondary market. My list is all of them. I am keeping everything and passing them down to my grandson. He's my BFF (wife notwithstanding) and I've given him most of the firearms he owns now but he'll get the safe and all the contents.

See I’ve sold a few guns none of which I miss. I usually buy cheap/broken guns do a few things hold on to them for a year and flip em depending on the market. Now as of right now there are two guns I bought the will not go. It’s a Barrett mrad and a marlin lever action that made pigs have done work to. I told my kids between all of my shit you better keep these two. As of right now.

I’ve only sold one gun and it was to a buddy who’s daughter had recently been stalked and he didn’t have much cash, the rest I will absolutely never part with for any reason.

As Enoch Perez has already stated, all my guns are only going any where from “my cold dead hands.” I have only sold three of my guns and I have come to deeply regret those sales. I am 70 and didn’t get into guns deeply until I was 62, getting rid of my guns will be left to my wife after I am gone.
I have what I refer to as an [original] MCX. When I call it an [original], I mean it is before we referred to Gen1, Gen2, etc. I bought it as soon as it came out and was available in my area. If you recall the [original] MCX was only offered in 300 BLK with a 16” barrel. My MCX has been back to Sig many times. The original trigger in the MCX was horrible. I never measured it, but I bet it was well North of 10 lbs. So, I changed it out for a Geissele SSA-E. Then the big issue. The bolt carrier and recoil spring system blew up while Nutin Fancy was making a TH-cam video, which caused an immediate recall. Sig fixed the bolt system and put in a different Geissele Trigger, an SSA version. My gun is no longer “original”, but it is still one of my favorite guns. Last fall I bought a Sig MCX Spear LT 9” 300 BLK. I am absolutely awe struck with how much improved the gun is from my original. It does have one down fall. You can’t get it with a 16” barrel and yes, that is a big deal to me.
You mentioned that Sig has their own suppressors. Good luck finding one. I have wanted a Sig Suppressor since early 2017 and wasn’t able to find one in stock. So, I gave up and bought a SureFire SOCOM Mini RC2. I really want a SLH300TI-QD to mate to the proprietary flash hider that is on my Sig MCX Spear LT.

thats funny this came out. i actually called that because in the go pro footage of guys on the roof its shows crooked lined up between the snippers on barn and puts the tree between them. I figured another sniper for another place pulled the trigger.
