That's typical done in a hanger but it's either a quick fix or there's no room in the hanger.
Spirit has a hangar??? It's more of a joke, but nah, line maintenance like this is off hangar most of the time. They are probably just servicing the IDG, some sort of filter change (hydraulic, oil), or swapping a component.
