Like we've discussed before, I still prefer the standard display model. For me, it's just been more practical to have standard display Casios. I will say that on the W736, the negative display does look a lot better than other Casios that I've seen.

I personally think negative displays tried to emulate a computer screen (kind of a predecessor to Smart Watches). But once Smart Watches came along, I personally like the positive display because nobody will mistake it for a Smart Watch. Again that’s just me. Thanks for the great comparison. That’s light for both is pretty cool how they are the same.

Thanks for the feedback. The positive display is fortifying the conclusion that positive displays overall are the way to go. I’m sure there are some exceptional cases. This review really helped me. I have been considering buying a w736h. And I would normally go with a positive display, but the negative display looks great. However, the need to look at the negative display straight on versus the positive display that you can read at an angle is a no go for me.
Hi Tim. Great video, as always. This watch reminds me of my negative display Casio AE-1500WH that I just got. Same color (black/gray), larger, highly visible display, light is a descrete gaslight amber, no vibe alert unfortunately but I don’t mind.

I’m pretty certain that the past two negative displays have solidified my preference for the positive display Casio.

The vibrate alert is the feature that clinches it for me.

Why do you call it the “Big Sky”? Its part of my collection but doesn’t get much wrist time anymore. The vibration alarm is why i purchased it.
The digital display has larger numbers like Big Sky country…Montana. The vibration alert is one of Casios best features especially at this price point
