Ich war ein bisschen überrascht solches Video von dir zu angucken. Ich freue mich alle diese Menschen verstanden zu haben. As a Polish national living in Germany since 2017 I find it peculiar to find myself watching a video made by an American, living in Warsaw and interviewing Germans in a park in Berlin. :)) I suppose TH-cam algorithms work in mysterious ways. Also, I find your videos very relatable, as I myself have had a fair share of adjusting to living in another country. Keep it up girl!

👏 “da merkt man den Unterschied zwischen West Berlin un Ost Berlin noch” (5:40) Und Gott sei Dank gibt es noch Unterschiede…

Oh boy it has been a long time since I tried to speak German. As a Polish man I think that is the one exception where a lack of linguistic practice is a good thing. Speaking of... Have you found something you enjoy to practice Polish on? PS. I am ambivalent about on giving this a thumbs up, but I'll give you this one. I'm not really sure what is an acceptable way of saying it in English since I'm not as familiar with the social perception of certain words as I am on their meaning on msdn. 90% of my exposure to English is technical documentation :] 9% is Hollywood movies and actually using it with real people is that last 1%. If I'm pushing it command HALT! With that painfully lengthy foreword out of the way... You have grown on me in a way. Would I earn a caning for saying you're captivating? :]. Also, you have come pretty far. From barely breathing due to stress in the first video you uploaded to making this youtube thing look easy, tho I bet it's not. Polish content? hint hint poke poke :] Cheers

I have! Not sure about “enjoy”, but I have had to practice Polish at work quite a bit now 😂 also curious about this technical documentation? Polecas podobne metody do uczenia polskiego? 😂 thank you, Scorp! And sorry about the German 😛 Pozdrawiam

@@PlexiGlasss Glad to hear it. Any practice is good as long as it's not something like 50 shades of perversion and social degeneration :). You are in a Polish-speaking environment so that should make things a lot easier than it would have otherwise been as long as you don't actively avoid speaking Polish since especially in Warsaw you could get away with "Me sorry, no speaking Polish" and switch to English. It's normal to fail and be embarrassed from time to time. (Duh! Look at how crap my English is.) Best thing you can do is push through. I'm really happy to hear you're finally on it. It seems that words are already less of a struggle. As for the other thing... MSDN is Microsoft developer network. That's where you go for very technical documentation if you write code for Windows or anything Windows-adjacent. Their documentation is very verbose and as far as I can tell, written in regular, clean English. That's not always the case for docs. Yup, I'm a geek. Deal with it. ^^ Well, OK not really. I do geek out hard sometimes tho.
