Tupac is lyrical enough, his own lyricism is based upon delivery and subject matter being intertwined with some form of poetic technique... and that's exactly what Tupac did which makes him lyrical. He isn't forced to be a New York lyrical miracle rapper to make it into the "lyrical" list of rappers. You don't want to rewind Tupac verses? Fair enough for yourself, but 40+ million people listen to him worldwide I'm sure there's enough of them rewinding his verses lol...

I just gave you a concrete example of a word that's changed meanings depending on the context it's used. If you want to ignore it, that's on you.
@marijancorluka4500 Bruh Pac is dope but get real Nas is and was lightyears ahead of Tupac when it comes to lyricism and Pac fully knew that too when he was here

Bruh listen to Me again world album! That's hip hop. Appreciate Kane keeping it real! Grew up on both of them. 💯💪🏾
2Pac was definitely a lyricist...
Where? I know he was a great humpty dancer...😂
@@100timessquare & I see u-r a great hater 😁😁😁
Pac wasn't a real lyricist son

Like Kane said it’s your level of perception of what you define what’s a lyricist everyone’s ANSWER is different.
J. Cole's song, "Punching the Clock" is an example of real lyricism mixed with creative wordplay and storytelling.
Lyricism is Lyricism. One can take it to the Highest Heights. But anyone Who pens 🖊 lyrics is a lyricists.Anything outside of that! Is just People's Opinions and Preferences.
Fake people hate anything that's real. They hate real people, real words, real artists and real music.💯
I think Pac did his thang on If I Die 2nite, especially how he used the Ps polishing pistols pass the pumps.
One of the dopest tracks ever. He did that with a few c letter words and S letter words as well. Put that 💩 on repeat and dissect it 🔥
😍Daddy Kane is more handsome now then when he was younger. Love his voice. Love his music. Love is legacy. 📻
yes Sir Big DAddy Kane school em
Amen, Big Daddy Kane. I remember when I popped in “me against the world”. When I heard , “can you picture my prophecy”… I was hooked. He touched my soul. Pac is a legend in his own right!
New York guys just say that because Pac smoked the whole east coast
Bigge n nas killed the west
Thank you BDK for highlighting this !!
Kane speaking facts... Pac wasn't super lyrical, people just felt his bars...
A true lyricist is lyrical to the point you want to rewind that 🔥 verse, & Pac was never that guy.. Nasty Nas was, Big L was, Big Pun was...
Nah, with pac you rewinded the entire song and listen to it again and again.
*Your* definition of a lyricist is like a sportsman who performs one skill in a game and his team still loses.
BTW BDK said Tupac was a great lyricist.
@@isaz597 👎Pac not lyrical
@@isaz597
He said that to appease yall rabid fans that would be in his mentions if he told the truth and said Nah, Pac was a better speaker and entertainer than rapper.
Lyricist is a Title for those at the upper echelon of bar work like Kane was in 89
Tupac is lyrical enough, his own lyricism is based upon delivery and subject matter being intertwined with some form of poetic technique... and that's exactly what Tupac did which makes him lyrical.
He isn't forced to be a New York lyrical miracle rapper to make it into the "lyrical" list of rappers. You don't want to rewind Tupac verses? Fair enough for yourself, but 40+ million people listen to him worldwide I'm sure there's enough of them rewinding his verses lol...
When 2pac rhymed, he just didn't waste lyrics- he spoke what he felt
In my opinion, Tupac and DMX were more poetic than lyrical.
Poetry and lyrical is the same think. Both requires "words".
I can not take any fan serious if they think pac not a lyricist is crazzzzzzzzzy
Yall just get mad when people say Pac isnt the greatest lyricist because he wasnt, and thats Ok he had his lane in which he shined but he wasnt a wordsmith and Kane basically explained it perfectly, Pac used the same rhymes alot he became repetitive.
He wasn't a "sick lyrical miracle rapper" like the Wu Tang bunch but he is the most respected rapper out of all which deems him as the greatest lyricist of all time. Lyricism isn't strictly the use of specific literary techniques, it encompasses a lot more per its official definition and Tupac certainly met that criteria.
people confuse lyrical with technical
Finally someone said the real and properly defined it!!!
Makaveli Era and All The Unreleases Man Listen 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is huge coming from one of the greatest lyricists of all times Big Daddy Kane🎉
He lying
Great point Kane!!
I always respect Kane's opinion on anything Hip-Hop. He always gives an unbiased well thought out opinion.
He was 25 when he died and only gettin better ppl forget tha
