What a remarkable effort from a group of very young musicians. They could have taken the easy routein the world of 'pop' bu the choose to play real music instead. More power to them all. We should be encouraging more young musicians to do the same here in the UK instead of abandoning them to the dismal world of 'pop' !

Genial Maestro Chamorro , junto a los alumnos mis sinceras felicitaciones, desde que lo descubrí hace poco mas de 3 años , siempre trato de gozar con su música.👏👏👏
La nueva hornada de futuros genios ya está en marcha. Y el maestro empieza a presentarlos en sociedad con estos videos. Eso sí, bien arropados por el abuelo Scottie y las titas Carla y Anastasia. 😉 A todos les he visto tocar antes en otros videos, menos a la pianista Anna Ndiaye, me parece que es su primer solo con cámara por medio. Prometen mucho, tienen muy buena pinta, se ve talento y trabajo de asimilación de conceptos, como es lógico a esas edades en las que los chavales son esponjas que lo absorben todo con una facilidad pasmosa. Por buenos maestros no va a quedar. De todas formas me siguen faltando nuevos guitarristas, lo que viene siendo algo crónico en la SAJB. De hecho solo ha habido uno en estos más de 16 años: Carla Motis. Ella y nadie más. Por eso siempre se ha tirado del maestro Traver, que nos ha dejado auténticas maravillas, claro, pero no dejaba de ser un invitado. Nunca ha habido relevo. Y Carla ya no está en la banda desde hace 2 ó 3 años, ahora ya es una invitada más, no se puede echar mano de ella eternamente por sistema. No sé, yo veo ahí una laguna importante que se puede convertir en un problema serio. Esta orquesta ha sido siempre de jóvenes (hasta los 21 años máximo), así que necesita un par de guitarristas jóvenes, pienso yo. Abusar de los invitados para solventar carencias no puede ser una solución permanente. Pero vaya, lo demás, sobre todo los vientos, parecen tener un muy buen futuro asegurado. Por cierto, llevo siguiendo hace tiempo a Luc Martín y por sus maneras y desparpajo me recuerda mucho a Edu Ferrer y Koldo Munné cuando tenían su edad. Apostaría a que dentro de 3 ó 4 años se convertirá en el nuevo "crooner" de la banda. Al tiempo. 😉
You guys are incredible. Dixie jazz. That is great and you guys sound fantastic. Mr Chamorro: your place in heaven is guaranteed. Via TH-cam I have followed your kids. It appears you have taught/trained several generations of kids. I hope you realize the difference you are making and have made in these kids' life. Love the trombone and piano solos (but I am biased to certain instruments). These kids are adorable. You even have a banjo player. Any chance you could ever include a Bb piston valve bass trumpet? I hope I can get to see you guys in the USA, e.g. New Jersey, NYC, Philadelphia.
