    Wow thank you for your possitive review. Have waited for mine and played with them first time today. I know I wanted a raquet with low flex. But wow my backhand is back and how I like this thin beam! Even tho its 3 grams heavier then my Babolats strung it feels so much easier to swing. With strings and overgrip my 97 HDs weighs 340 gram. Was expecting a much heavier feel.Its really maneuverable. I strung it with 1.20mm polyester at 22kg. Thx again you helped me choosing raquet and my tennis felt really good today!

    Andy is spot on! Here's my two cents: I bought the VCore Pro 97 310 one month ago, and immediately identified the stability issues mentioned by Andy in his 310 review video, so ended up adding 4 gm weight tape, (2gm either side at 10 and 2)and it has definitely helped. However, how having a 314gm racquet, I may as well have bought the 320 to begin with...l regret not buying the 320 HD, even though the 310 was a major upgrade on my old racquet and is the envy of my tennis coach! My reason for buying the 310 was I have a one-handed backhand and have been working hard on my consistency, so I really wanted that maneuverability, however adding 4gm specifically on the loop has affected that maneuverability on my backhand, so it's better to have more weight, 320gm, being distributed naturally by Yonex themselves rather than having the tape. Yonex should have made the 310gm as either a 315gm with the same balance, or ditch the 310gm and offer a 320gm with either 16 x 19 or 18 x 20 variant string pattern....simplicity, consistency and comparability in these racquet ranges is highly advised (in anyone from Yonex reads this!). So, 310gm is very good, but I suspect the 320gm is great and would agree with Andy, even though I haven't demoed it.

    Nice review again, and agree with my experience with this one! I generally play with flexible rackets, which I found do well with soft mains, Natural Gut or Multi rather than poly. Also the power is quite low, so soft-mains helps, especially for a flatter game. Also think prestige MP is a nice racquet, maybe even with a better feel than this one, I use Angell K7 Lime as my main 18x20 for singles which has similar specs to the MP and great feel due to Aramid and low 61RA. I plan to play with Vcore Pro 97HD more for doubles.

    I'm switching to this stick because I'm more of a doubles players now and I'm an attacking player so I need a flatter shot with more precision which this stick does great. Great review.

    I loved the vcore hd it certainly takes some time for adjusting to it. I had to swing it with a really full swing while playing with it. It promoted great form. Once you get used to it delivers on all bases great control spin and some access to power but you got to work for the power a little. Plays like a very traditional feeling racket. I agree with him on everything he says it’s very unique. This racket will help you get better at tennis I feel but is definitely for an advanced player. I ended buying a vcore pro 310 because I absolutely loved this racket but felt it was a little too heavy and thought I can add weight where I wanted. But I’m missing this racket a little bit honestly I’ll probably ad weight and make it mimic the vcore hd.

    I've used this racquet since its release, albeit whilst I've tried many others during this period.
    I've described this string pattern as not an overly tight 18x20, hence it is rather spin friendly relatively speaking.
    What I've also found deceptive is it doesn't feel as soft as one might assume for its RA rating. So, I've not found the dwell time to be as you've described.
    I do switch up racquets a fair bit as per above and do not have any issues returning to it, perhaps I've had a much longer period with it than yourself.
    As for the gravity pro I found the SW and the larger head size to make it feel considerably clunky by comparison. However, aside from that issue it did have great feeling and was rock solid. Very much on par with the Head Prestige mp, although perhaps without as much flex.
    Cheers. 🎾🎾🎾

      nostro1001 thanks for thoughts. Gravity pro will be on the list in about a months time, have had a couple of hits.
      Interesting what you say about being able to switch to and fro. Indeed I wonder if with more time I could do the same. With reviewing so much I can’t see that I will have enough time with it. Great racket, Yonex never fail to do a good job in my view. Cheers

      @@tenniseuphoria5012 Cheers Andy....just an fyi....the Wilson ultra pro 3.0 arrived for me yesterday, so was a bit disappointed I wasn't able to hit with it over the weekend.
      Highly unlikely I'll be hitting this week....my work life has ramped up with all students returning last week out here.
      However, I will play over the weekend and will provide some feedback as I said I would. It also has a fairly open 18x20 pattern much like this yonex!

    Hi, loved the review! How would you compare this to the blade v7 18.20 and pure strike 18.20 3rd gen,
    2 years ago, I switched from a steam 99 and pro kennex FC's destiny racket to a pure aero as I love brushing the ball, but the pure aero in during the past 2 years had been extremely inconsistent for me, the ball goes long most of the time, if I brush it goes really short, from the past 3 weeks I've been playing with 2012 pro staff six one 90 blx and the classic prostaff 6.1, these rackets are 360 and 380 grams strung respectively, I love the heavy stable feel and plow through of these old prostaffs but I need something lighter to swing during matches so the vcore pro 97 HD at 342gstrung weight seems to be the best for me. Advice would be really appreciated since I do not have a demo option here.

    hi Andy,
    Which of the 18x20 patterns offers most spin? Which is your favourite?

    • @tenniseuphoria5012
      @tenniseuphoria5012  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, thanks for the comment. Check out my video on comparing the 18x20’s for my favourite 😀. Spin wise, I felt the yonex vcore pro h d gave good spin, surprisingly good spin from the graphene 306+ prestige MP (a true 98 head in that ) and with the right strings the Wilson ultra pro / tour can generate good spin( as most will customise it a touch but probably leave it quite whippy). Hope that helps, strings will be important to get good spin on an 18x20, Dunlop black widow, m s v hex and shaped polys always work for me 👍

    • @ujale7
      @ujale7 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tenniseuphoria5012 thank you. My go to poly is Solinco Confidential but I plan to experiment a bit with a few less known strings like Weiss cannon red ghost, Kirschbaum evolution and max power rough etc.

    • @tenniseuphoria5012
      @tenniseuphoria5012  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Robert Oliver good question. Sadly I have not hit the Dunlop 18x20. I have the Dunlop 16x19 and I must say that is very good. Lacks a little power but lovely control. Based on that I can imagine the 18x20 is a nice stick. The 360 + prestige mp is stand out for me though. Have you tried the Wilson ultra tour or new ultra pro v 3? The ultra tour is brilliant and only needs 5 g of lead to be amazing.

      Hi, going to review the 93 p in a few videos time, have hit it a few times - harder to play with, very rewarding for some. vcore 95 - smaller sweet spot, lacks some stability for me, needs more backbone with lead, doesn’t compete with the vcore pro 97 hd (in my humble opinion).

    • @tenniseuphoria5012

      Hi, in stock form it’s more stable, more spin generation (a lot for an 18x20). The ultra tour and pro needs customisation I think most would agree - if customised well I would say the Wilson is preferable (but personal choice), the this is ready to go which is a bonus, enough mass and stability, hope that helps

      oz turk hi, it is heavier, more stable. This is still manoeuvrable which is a good trait of the Ezone and this is very surprisingly good there. Lower launch angle with this one. Check out my Ezone review - great racket, particularly with 5 g of lead!

      jerall yasin good question! I would probably say in stock form the VCORE pro 97 but with customisation the other two are better - both the 2020 Ezone and the ultra tour need about 5 g of lead. With that very close call. For most people the e zone , for me I would say the ultra tour. Hope that helps

      Dionisis Kld hmmm, if I was not reviewing and playing with loads of different all the time definitely the HD . But as a I chop and change I would probably say the 310 with 5 g of lead at 10 and 2 - easier to switch back into.

    • @TheodorosKolokotronis799
      @TheodorosKolokotronis799 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tennis Euphoria many of my friends suggest that 310 even with lead doesn’t gain too much power. Still it’s a racquet that you cannot play defense and you must generate your own power. They were pleasantly surprised that HD despite its dense pattern has more free power and isn’t as you said far behind on spin generation to 310. Some of them stopped experimenting with 310 and went straight to the 330 version. I will test it tomorrow. The static weight would be a problem on serves and volleys I guess.

    • @transamination
      @transamination 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheodorosKolokotronis799 Seems like the 310 would be good if weighted up to match the HD. As in, 2.5g lead at 3, 2.5g at 9, and 5g blue-tac under the butt-cap. Giving 320g static weight, same unstrung and strung balance as stock.

    Hi, I've finally managed to feel the weight of this racquet at the store the other day. It feels ridiculously light for its weight when i was bobbing it up and down (I can't swing at the store due to lack of space). Do you think it would be possible to get used to this racquet coming from a Head Microgel Radical and a Wilson Hyper Prostaff 5.0?
    Also, how would you compare this racquet to the Yonex VCore 95?
