In my experience, it helps the rhinestone coverage look better in the end. So if theres a tiny spot where I couldn't fit a stone, the sparkly base helps camouflage that a bit. The glitter base is absolutely not necessary though - just my personal preference!
When you first made your popcorn tumbler awhile back, I was there and made that one. I am so glad to be here for this one too! (Along with everything else you've made over the last couple years) I can't wait to now make this one too!! It's been so wonderful to watch you grow and flourish Mallory!! You are doing amazing,. so proud of you my beautiful friend!! These are both absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! Keep up the amazing work you do!!
This was AMAZING. I’m starting to make tumblers and lids. I guess I’m a bit late staring tho but I just found out about these. Your instructions are easy to follow. Thank you
I am a huge popcorn junkie I think it is in my DNA 🧬 the moment I saw the first tutorial I fell in love and still loving it and the rhinestone one now. You do have a lot of time and money into that tumbler. Just gorgeous.
OMG....how awesome are these! The rhinestone one is gorgeous but the glittered one is super sparkly too. Thank you for all you do and glad you are feeling better!
Omg. Glad you brought back that tutorial and blinged it!!!! So awesome!!!! That was one of the first tumblers I made along with your football tumbler. The popcorn tumbler is my all-time favorite 😊. ❤❤❤❤
That rhinestone tumbler is definitely a time consuming, but beautiful tumbler! I haven’t tried them yet. A little intimidated by them, but my daughter wants a cup made. I’m going to have to break down eventually and get me some. I love both tumblers, but I am glitter girl at ❤! Thank you for sharing your process and your svg’s, etc with us. I love it!
Thank you! I was super intimidated by rhinestone cups at first but I started with a few just plain scatter mix cups, and that helped me get the technique down. Now these intricate ones don’t seem so scary! You can totally do it!
@@madebymal_studio Any recommendations on how to get started? What size rhinestones and how many packages would I need for a 30 oz cup…approximately. I may start simple…just my daughters name in one color and the rest in another. 😁
Very cool Mal!! Great job and idea for popcorn 🍿 lovers!! That’s so awesome of Jessica to give you a discount code!! If I wasn’t a member I’d use your code! Don’t you just love her epoxy and rhinestones!! Have a fabulous day and I hope your tooth is better 😊
SO STINKING AMAZING!!! Can you please give me the info on that red/white checkered lap desk thing that's in your lap while you were rhinestoning? p&ty! love you!!!
Thank you! I actually got it like 8 years ago! It was a plain wooden lap desk (I got it at Michael’s) and then I painted my own gingham pattern on it. If they still have them I would run and grab one! So handy!
This is beautiful, but I have to ask... Why are you using red vinyl, then paining over, then glittering, then vinyl again and then stones? This is a lot to cover up that is not needed.
In my opinion it was needed. The glitter mixed into the epoxy before adding stones helps make the overall look more opaque. If there are any gaps in stones, it helps camouflage them. However you don’t need to do anything I’m doing - have fun with your own process!
Hello! Ur work is inspiring! I was curious where u get ur gold logo tags. I made a vintage circus popcorn cup and it's a huge hit. Love these sooo much!
My favorite part is you showing the work around! I love when crafters show mistakes on TH-cam
Such a cute idea for an engagement gift - add a couple of packets of popcorn - some candy and sodas and it’s a date night in. Love love!!!
I LOVE this idea!!!
Soooooo so so so so obsessed! OG Queen of popcorn tumblers 👸🏼👸🏼👸🏼
🥰🥰❤️❤️ thank you!
WOW!! After all of that work, I don't think I could PART with it. That is a work of ART...FOR REAL! BEAUTIFUL :)
Just subscribed. One of the best thorough and transparent tutorials I've seen. Thank you for sharing 🌹
Girl you have patience I couldn't do the rhinestones loved them both
Absolutely lovely 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Super cute! But I am legitimately curious as to why glitter it underneath if you’re just going to cover it with rhinestones?
In my experience, it helps the rhinestone coverage look better in the end. So if theres a tiny spot where I couldn't fit a stone, the sparkly base helps camouflage that a bit. The glitter base is absolutely not necessary though - just my personal preference!
Best tutorial ever

Hey girllll
Where or how did you get that gold stamp at the bottom of the tumbler from because I want one done as well!! Thank you much
I love this!!!
Thank you!
Question: did you sand the epoxy before applying the rhinestone? Or just rhinestone with a smooth epoxy ?
Awesome
Thank you!
Love it
Thank you!
So!!! Perrrty!!🤗 but why did you coat your cup the Second time if you was going to Bling it out with rhinestones?
Thanks! Wanted it to be smooth for the stones
Where can we purchase one ?
I love love love the rhinestone one but I could never afford to make it lol 😢
Thank you!
I feel you - they’re pricey but so beautiful lol
What size topper did you use.
Large Craft Haven
I LOVE the upgraded version of this! The chunky glitter makes it even better than before! And the rhinestone one…OMG. Now I want one of each lol
Ii'm new at this. Why transfer tape?
Just easier to apply the decals that way, for me at least!
@@madebymal_studio do you ever use it with vinyl?
They are both beautiful, but can I promise you, I could never, ever do all that rhinestone work, you must have the patience of Job!
Lol! It definitely was a patience tester but worth the work❤️
❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤
Is this real popcorn ?
No it’s plastic!
🥰 Just Beautiful 💕thank you for sharing… ALa’BlancheSmiles❤️

I bought the decal from your website but I can't figure out how to use it in design space to save my life.
I kinda wonder how many people out of all of the viewers actually made this
