I want to be like this in the future. Riding forever! Even if I'm old with gray hair... That's amazing. And the guy is so cool and full of life :) inspiring.
In its day the Sportmax was one of the best 250 cc bikes available to the non works riders , Sammy , Hailwood, Surtees and many more had great success on these superb machines
I believe basically it was the same engine but it had 28 hp instead of the standard engine which had 18 hp. I myself when younger owned three standard Supermax, one after the other, also I´m a NSU fan but did not know that in 1957 it was faster than the 350cc and the 500cc other bikes, what a motorcycle and rider !
That bike is one of the greatest and the rider still get with it . Thanks Sammy Miller .
Still crazy after all these years. Thank you Sammy Miller.
This is something special having a legendary motorcyclist like Sammy Miller doing a presentation and he doesn't mess about on that NSU.
Thank you for building the Sherpa T at Bultaco Sammy. It's one of the most beautiful trials bike ever built. Stay well and keep riding.

A true LEGEND, to use an overused word. Love the way he tucks in behind the fairing, not all knees and bits poking into the wind.

5 speed gearbox! Sound is fantastic.
Based on the production engine I see, what a fantastic machine for the time.
The man, the legend!!!!
Fantastic
Not a leg-end but a Legend!
Wonder was that Terry Hills nsu Hills Engineering Belfast?
Was it basically the same engine as the Supermax? I had a 1960 Supermax but had a bad accident on it, someone bought it and made it into a sand racer.
