"He shrugged off a guy in the Rams game and threw a touchdown" Yeah that "guy" was Aarron Donald right in his face, and he threw the ball 40 yards for a TD as he was getting tackled.
He has to learn how to take a hit. He looked like a non football player out there taking hits which is why he kept getting injured. That concussion against Houston in the end zone was a perfect example of him not knowing how to brace himself. Beyond that though he looked sensational & was even outplaying Stroud in that Houston game.
LMAO having rookie QB's ahead of AR is ridiculous. At least we know what AR can bring on an NFL field, these rookies are unproven... maybe I'm biased but this is a terrible ranking, ask 32 GM's if they would want AR as their QB and I guarantee at least 10-15 would want him over their current QB
Not to mention the stats don’t tell it all, there were 4-6 balls that hit receivers hands or were fouls not called that were incomplete, and that would’ve put him up into the 60s completion percentage wise
Chris Simms really didn’t watch AR at all last season. He knew where to go with the football. His only real issue was inconsistency with his feet when throwing the football and relying on his arm a little too much
I know you need to see more with AR5 but to have him ranked #32 in the league is outrageous 😂. No worries ya'll, he will hop on the bandwagon this year like everyone else with AR5.
As a Colts fan, I hope AR goes off this season. And I think he will - partially bc the Colts have had the best Offseason in the AFC south. That said, people in the comments acting like Simms is 'hating'. He's just relaying facts. AR's upside is otherworldy.... but it's no fluke he only played 4 games. Instead of playing like superman, dial it down to batman and we'll be all good.
What a joke! Simms is someone I’m losing respect for! AR still needs to prove a lot but there are 32 teams in the league which means he’s basically Simms worst starting QB! I don’t buy it! AR is gonna be on a mission
NBC: “we need to compete with The Pat McAfee show” Chris: “i mean sh** he can make that f***in throw! Right!? Thanks for watching homies see you on the next one peace out” 😂
I’m curious…what’s the difference between AR as a prospect and Joe Milton? It seems like they had very similar college careers and skill sets. Richardson ends up going 4 overall and Milton goes day three?
I think it’s way too early to tell how Richardson will turn out. He has a killer arm but when he runs he tends to slide head first which gets him in trouble.
This all sounds like Chris Simms just trying to get clicks. Even hearing him explain it, he doesn't believe he's 32nd best in the league. We'll all laugh at this at the end of the year and he'll act as if it was justified all along
Good to know that Chris Simms still wouldn't know what a good QB was if they slapped him in the face. I mean you'd think he'd be able to tell the difference considering he's stared at a terrible QB for every day of his life.
This entire list has been a waste of my time. I know you can’t watch every snap of every game. However, Richardson only played about 4 games, and you couldn’t watch all of those snaps? Screen pass in the dirt? Missing a crosser by 5 yards? I don’t recall these things. If anything, he has a tendency for the ball to sail and throw high. This is mostly nonsense.
Simms didn’t watch a single down of AR like a lot of people. Look at any film analysis, he has good reads, it’s the footwork that isn’t always consistent. Occasionally he’ll miss a read, but what QB doesn’t?
This is a terrible take, and you will absolutely regret it. I don't know what film you were watching to come up with this misses being "all over the place" and Richardson being a better "down the field thrower" than hitting short and intermediate routes when Richardson didn't really throw long often at all. Defenses consistently played Cover-2 against Richardson, and safeties stayed home. They weren't going to challenge AR to throw over the top. Instead, they forced him to find the open man, which he generally did. It feels like you didn't look at the tape. Richardson threw one interception in his first game, and that's all. He did miss some short throws, and he was putting too much mustard on some throws in the first couple of games, but he had cured that by game four. The only real challenge to AR being a top-10 QB this year is staying on the field. And you are putting Richardson at 32 and Caleb Williams, who has never played a snap in the NFL, where exactly? You are going to look SUPER DUMB at the the of the season, and I look forward to your mea culpa next year, when you rank AR in the top 3. 0:08
Ah yes. Since he had a season ending injury on a freak play (that I was present for), he will get injured every year. It’s weird how how attach this narrative to him, but not other starting QBs in the league. I guess Burrow is going to get hurt. I guess Rodgers will get hurt. A LOT of QBs got hurt last year. He just got tackled in an unlucky way. I don’t think you know what his playing style is.
@@jshumphress13 40 year old rodgers 100% getting hurt and burrow is also injury prone, Lamar also. You'd be lucky to get them for a full year, history proves that. Specially running QBs that rely on physically like cam newton and AR
AR at 32 ain't hating. He has played very little football and has shown an inability to stay healthy. Richy has all the tools just needs to stay on the field. Colts don't have a bye week til week 14 so that's a bummer but I have all the faith in him to do well. Richardson is a QB eyes stay downfield doesn't take off after his first read, IF he stays healthy he'll be a top 5 QB in the NFL.
A joke to have rookie QB's in front of him. Also a joke to have Tannehill in front of him. C'mon Chris.
"He shrugged off a guy in the Rams game and threw a touchdown" Yeah that "guy" was Aarron Donald right in his face, and he threw the ball 40 yards for a TD as he was getting tackled.
It was Aaron Donald, it was completed, it was not a TD.
Everyone hating on AR5, I hope he crushes it this year.
😂😂😂😂 I’ll come back to this end of the year
I’ll be waiting, they sleeping on us.
putting tannehill above AR is ABSOLUTE INSANITY

Just becuz they are unproven doesn’t mean it’s wrong .. if he had stroud as a top 10 QB at the start of last year everyone would’ve called him insane
@@quentinchapman6987but 32?!
He had AR ranked arounf 25 last year. And that was with no nfl experience.
Y’a he really proved lots - that he can’t play without getting hurt
That Rams game wasn't great statistically, but he was pretty damn clutch that second half. Had a couple incredible throws too.
Not to mention the stats don’t tell it all, there were 4-6 balls that hit receivers hands or were fouls not called that were incomplete, and that would’ve put him up into the 60s completion percentage wise

Bookmarking this one for the end of the year lmaoooo
I get that he didn’t play much last but Anthony Richardson will be a top 13 QB by da time this seasons ends trust me 💯
Last year what impressed me was the short passes. He was making great reads. He often overthrew them, but he was going the right place.
Disrespectful
I know you need to see more with AR5 but to have him ranked #32 in the league is outrageous 😂. No worries ya'll, he will hop on the bandwagon this year like everyone else with AR5.
Basically he’s the worst starter in the league. You gonna regret this one Chris.
Simms just mad he sucked so bad and didn't have AR's traits.
@@Lil-FreedomI doubt it.
@@rjonesy3480He finished 2 full games and got hurt 3 times in 4 total games. He’s made of glass.
You realize he missed basically all year right? Get outta your feelings
Casual.
I don't understand how anyone can have AR this low. This will age very poorly.
He’s not even the worst QB in his division. These guys are nuts
#32??? He would have been offensive rookie of the year last year had he stayed healthy

AR5 winning the afc south

AR is way more gifted physically
I think it’s way too early to tell how Richardson will turn out. He has a killer arm but when he runs he tends to slide head first which gets him in trouble.
Wow…. the disrespect here is absolutely unreal. You put all the first round rookies ahead of AR???? Tf?
This gonna age like milk
I agree bro was missing hella throws and he gotta learn how to slide too
32?? Im a Raiders fan and I believe he’s top 24
How is this dude the worst starting quarterback in the league Wut
Antman will be an MVP candidate. Watch and see
Why did it jump from 36 to 32?
