@a11outwar - RF stands for Radio Frequency. There is a multitude of radio frequencies and this gives the relay +6 extra channels to transmit/recieve from.

Brilliant, thanks. Can you do the same to the receiver?

Just what I needed. The online instructions from line 6 was confusing as hell.

I'm new to this... what is the difference between rf1 and rf2? what would be the purpose of switching from one to the other? thanks..

Thank you! Almost sent a brand new G30 transmitter back as I don't have an XD-V75 to upgrade my receiver. It's too bad Line 6 makes it so hard to figure out how to change the transmitter to RF1.

Mine does not blink at all when turned on - it goes purple then blue - no blink - defective?

Hi, thanks for detailed instructions. Unfortunately, when I do as you instructed here, my G30 transmitter does not respond as yours. First of all, my LEDs do not flash as yours. I cannot reach the point where it flashes once or twice. Blue remains consistent after this process. In between there is also purple one as you may guess from channel change. What could be my problem?
    Thank you, best regards.

What is better RF1 or RF2? My G30 does cut out once in a while for a split second during bar gigs.

@drial depends in the environment you belong, radio frequencies(RF) interferes with wifi,5g phones and other wireless systems mics and etc. You always need to switch it to 2 modes like in the video. You may experience it but suggest is to regularly switch it so you won't experience any trouble.
