@Drakey Drake Sorry, it wasn't BMW who said it; but Kawasaki. But the situation is something like this: Kawasaki spend 8 millons of euros in SBK. To compete in Moto GP, you need a minimum of 60-70 millions of euros. Only to compete, because Honda spend 100 millions.
Anthony West was pretty quick on that Kawasaki, the guy deserved better (especially looking at how the FIM have been treating him over the past years).
rossi now is the only one left from the class of 2005 and if somehow dani retired or rossi retired, one of them will be the only one left from the class of 2006.

Casey Stoner retired too early. Would have been such a treat to watch him on today's Ducatis.

Jon Hopkins was such a talent, a bit of it wasted in how much things changed so much and never got that top ride. Wish he was 20 now.
