Awesome break down, unfortunately I wish the BDP wasn’t this good so we could save a few dollars 😂 All jokes aside, this entire wave is fantastic and I think the team did a good job picking 5 different sets that a wide range of LEGO collectors will enjoy when June rolls around next year. We’ll be trying to pre-order the entire wave for sure if we can swing it. Popcorn Wagon is my favorite 🔥 Glad to see you get the channel up and running! Looking forward to more fantastic content 🎉
Transylvania - Will sell out in one hour (assuming the site doesn't crash from the flood of orders)... mark my words Popcorn - This will sell out next. It's cute and probably low in price. Mushroom - This must sell out as well considering it's predecessor did. I can't imagine fans, who bought mushroom house, won't buy this. Antique - This could swing either way. I think the sale success of this set will be very price dependent. Pirate - I predict this one will have success but will NOT sell out because it's on the premium price range as Transylvania. BDP members, fan or not, will purchase Transylvania first because it's the GOAT. I'd imagine this will eat into some of the sales for Tortuga
@vietrounder i mostly agree, except for Tortuga, but that's also because I love it so much. But I could see the price being a sticking point considering most people can't buy them all, so Transylvania will be the #1 buy. I do wonder if people miss on it, will they default and buy tortuga, or just wait until series 6.
@@justcoll3ct Both AIT and Tortuga are wonderful sets and should come in between $350-$425 usd. It would be very steep for many people to afford both. Judging from the BDP history, there really hasn't been two huge sets that were sold out in one season. It's usually one large set, and one small that gets sold out. This is the first time we have two 4k pcs sets going against eachother so I'm very curious to see how this turns out. I hope that both gets sold out but my gut feeling tells me that Tortuga might get the dirty end. One last factor to consider is that the crowdfunding date is June 10, which is the start of summer and spending season.
@vietrounder definitely agree. It's one of the better overall series to me. Antique store will suffer from not being modular and people feelings about that, but having ti high priced ones, Tortuga is the one people will be more likely to pass on out of the 2
