@@justcoll3ct Pantasy is a sleeper brand. Everyone who tries their stuff seems to like it. I know I do. Earlier Funwhole sets were a little rough, but the stuff they've come out with this year is, frankly, better than Lego. And priced way, way better.

@SO-ym3zs for sure. 1 pantasy srt had a little bit of stability issues for me. The other was great though. Ill probably get a Funwhole one in the next couple weeks

@@justcoll3ct Exactly. It was also easy to hunt down some original trilogy minifigures. I already had Han Solo from the Microfighter set, then bought Luke, Leia and Obi Wan online.

@saahir18 points are certainly nice, but if I find better deals at target, Amazon, etc than what points equal, I always go with the better deal. Bluebrixx has some awesome designs, but haven't bought one yet.

@alit4566 thats tough. I think the small one works better with chewbacca and C3P0 for sure, and would save a but of money. I like the bigger one also, but space and budget wise, the small one checks a ton of boxes.

@@justcoll3ct thank you for the answer, that´s exactly what I thought. I recently got the small one for around 60 USD, but I was thinking collection value wise if I should change it with the big version. However, I´m also not sure if it worths that 140 USD extra :D

@alit4566 i think if you have the small one, especially at a discount, then building the bigger one will feel so similar that your money is probably spent elsewhere. They are similar enough, unless you're a big R2 fan and want it of course. I have both, but would've been fine with just the small one.

@saahir18 yeah, they really missed on some great sets for sure. It's a pretty good series for me personally, but I get it is very limited for a lot of people who don't care for a nature theme.

@MrJoebuck74 that's fair. I wish lego would give us sets from a western theme with mining, but seems they won't. I definitely think other series are better overall. And the castle stm still wondering about due to already having enough castle theme.

@vietrounder i mostly agree, except for Tortuga, but that's also because I love it so much. But I could see the price being a sticking point considering most people can't buy them all, so Transylvania will be the #1 buy. I do wonder if people miss on it, will they default and buy tortuga, or just wait until series 6.

@@justcoll3ct Both AIT and Tortuga are wonderful sets and should come in between $350-$425 usd. It would be very steep for many people to afford both. Judging from the BDP history, there really hasn't been two huge sets that were sold out in one season. It's usually one large set, and one small that gets sold out. This is the first time we have two 4k pcs sets going against eachother so I'm very curious to see how this turns out. I hope that both gets sold out but my gut feeling tells me that Tortuga might get the dirty end. One last factor to consider is that the crowdfunding date is June 10, which is the start of summer and spending season.

@vietrounder definitely agree. It's one of the better overall series to me. Antique store will suffer from not being modular and people feelings about that, but having ti high priced ones, Tortuga is the one people will be more likely to pass on out of the 2

@@natalievision that's a fair take. But sometimes financial situations change, or people have a change of heart. But I would much rather at least buy and see where the next 5 months go than just miss out all together and have to pay reseller prices. Thanks for watching.

I agree with you. People need to be considerate when deciding whether or not to place the order so that those who truly want it don't lose out. I think the host is just giving a general recommendation when purchasing these sets to do so separately so that, should you need to cancel anything in particular, it wouldn't effect the entire order.

@vietrounder i tend to buy 2 of every set. I never canceled sold out ones, and for the ones that end up not selling out, if I decide to not have 2 of those, I first offer it at retail on a bunch of different platforms before canceling. But if a set sold out and I don't want it, I will sell it at retail to someone who wants it, that way it wasn't just taken out of circulation from everyone. But sometimes we need more time to know if we actually want or need something, especially with financial unknowns.

@@justcoll3ct I do pretty much that. I didn’t like the Forest Stringhold and had no intention of crowdfunding it. However I had a change of heart when I saw the meter bar rapidly moving towards sold out so I purchased one copy to be on the safe side. My opinion of that set remains and if I change my mind I will still purchase it and resell it on BDP. Like you said the important thing is to not take it out of circulation since these are limited sets
