I did all those roads +15 years ago solo backpacking on local transportation! Nice memories! Back them I was carrying a heavy miniDV camera, a 2MP photo camera, there were no cellphones, no Google Maps, no YT, no WhatsApp, no credit cards, no English spoken and no foreigners overall... I am glad I did most of my travels before travelling became a mainstream activity for millions of vloggers. Nowadays those kinds of travels are impossible to be done and the sense of adventure has certainly transformed massively. But even if times and conditions have changed, I am still happy to see that some people want to go out of their comfort zones to discover the world. Best regards! PS: And Pakistanis, one of the best people of the world! They made me feel at home.
I cycle the whole length of the karakorham highway in october 1999 ,incredible feat of engineering, incredible scenery of immense beauty ,ruggedness, desolation, where glaciers almost collide with the road surrounded by massive jagged mountains a very spiritual journey with amazingly kind and hospitable people I pakistan a truly memorable time in my life only beaten by the birth of my sons.. I was one of the lucky ones ,within a year of me completing that extraordinary inspirational journey the chinese banned cyclists from making the crossing the border from pakistan into China !! Thank you pakistan and it's people for the fantastic memories !!

You are at a caravansary, along the Silk Road. That is absolutely amazing. There are few histories more rich than the one this caravansary has experienced.
I only found your channel a couple of months ago. I've watched all of your videos and was so worried when I heard something had happened. I'm sorry for the ordeal you went through. I can't begin to imagine what that must have been like. I'm glad you're home safe and happy to see your new videos. I'll enjoy 'traveling' along with you for the rest of this journey and when you get back out there after Covid. Your videos have been so inspiring. Thanks and take care. :) Paula from Maine, USA
Keep the chin up guys. Life is full of wonderful surprises and some good things are heading your way. You are innocent travel bloggers and what you went through was wrong.
