2:17:45 I am absolutely thrilled that my entry made it to the top 100! Even though I only had 5 days to work on it due to my job, I am happy with what I was able to achieve. To those who didn't make it to the top 100, I want to offer some encouragement. I remember participating in the last Infinite Journey challenge and not making it to the top 100. It left me feeling frustrated and discouraged at the time, but I learned to channel those negative emotions into the motivation to be better, not from others, but from my old self. So, please don't get stuck on the feeling of failure. Instead, take the positive lessons you learned and use them to grow and improve. Keep pushing towards your goals, and you will achieve them!

@MadSadLab I used the Unreal 5 template :) also used 3dsmax, blockbench and photoshop. Maybe start with this Unreal tutorial? :P th-cam.com/video/k-zMkzmduqI/w-d-xo.html
@MadSadLab If this is your very very first time making something in 3D, I suggest starting very very simple like start with Blender 3D and follow the Donut tutorial by Blender Guru and start from there. Then keep following other tutorials you find and make your small, tiny projects from there. And keep growing from there. Majority of the guys who are in Top 100 have been doing this for quite a while and started small themselves too.
@16:20 The wheel is different cause its a fixie bike wheel which means the back wheel goes the same rotational direction as your pedals, thats why they break with the pedals and not handles
It was a fun experience honestly, i knew i'm not gonna be able to be in the top 100 render but seeing all these renders today was a lot of hype ! thank you Clint for this opportunity and i'll do my best to be better next time ✌
Thank you guys i appreciate u all i just saw the replies, @MadSadLab sorry for the late reply anyway i'd recommend blender since it's beginner friendly, it has a lot of tutorials since it has a big community and it has all the tools you need in it unlike other program which each one of them is specified for a certain work. and yes it's free
For me the very best work is the one in 35:00, it could easily pass as a movie scene segment. The subject movements have weight to them like it was motion captured, background has a lot of thing on it while not overwhelming the MC and the lighting is just phenomenal. Also the sparks, the fire, the smoke trails, the thrusters and the explosion are perfectly done. And i like the touch where you can see the villain in the background as to why the scene is made. Very great job by the creator.
2:51:27 Still in shock I made it to the top 100. Didn't expect it at all. Every submission is just so incredibly good. Can't believe I'm a part of them 😳 Thanks so much. I'm a big fan of all of you guys!
@MadSadLab I used Blender. It's free, has a great community and many tutorials online. So I'd say just go for it. I myself just started learning the program 6 month ago.
I'm so so happy that the 1st place one came 1st place. I saw his submission pop up in my TH-cam recommendations and I was absolutely freaking blown away. Not just the final product, but even the VFX breakdown was just enchanting to watch. Amazing competition and brilliang submissions by everyone! Hope everybody is so incredibly proud of what they've achieved
3:06:17 Hey im stoked i made it! Haha, honestly grateful, there are comments thinking its suzanne skull, no, it is a human skull that oddly looks like a monkey skull for some reason in the render! Ty Guys!
@@madsadlab It was all done in blender, i tweaked some things in After effects and color grade in premiere but barely. It was mostly all blender! I recommend blender or unreal because theyre free and they have a surplus of tutorials and documentation. Makes it the easiest way to start in my opinion
2:36:59 Genuinely shocked I made top 100, thank you so much to everyone involved! I was out with friends celebrating Ireland winning the grand slam in Rugby and would check in every now and again into the livestream for a few seconds but stopped then as I never assumed I'd ever make it to top 100 so I'm gutted I wasn't even around to see it live hahaha I started this four days before the deadline and my only takeaway was how happy I was with how much I was able to do in those four days, but to see that I've made top 100 as well has completely stunned me. I genuinely never thought I was top 100 worthy after seeing so many incredible renders across such a wide array of various styles. With how little time I was able to give myself I was so disappointed to not have drastic improvements including some smear-frames, impact-frames, and mesh-trails. I even had mesh-trails done but they weren't held out on the proper render layer and didn't have enough time for another render so I had to not include them, which was really unfortunate as they made the missile and sword arc-motions a lot easier to convey what was happening with the missile turnaround and hitting the bad guy. I'm really glad that despite these big drawbacks I was still able to apply some semblance of time management to myself and get some compositing done hahaha So Alan and Peter are both half right, everything was animated normally, and I then baked each characters animation. Following that, I would remove frames where I thought necessary, in order to achieve that anime 2D feel. Each character had their own mixed frame rates on a mixture of 1s, 2s, 3s, and 4s. There were some 2D mesh flipbook effects I wanted to add in a lot of places but didn't give myself enough time for them and, as a result, everything in the shot is 3D, no 2D elements were used for achieving a more 2D like feel which I'm glad that I was able to somewhat achieve. I'm glad you noticed the Akira slide Peter hahaha, I'm really happy both you and Clint think it fits! And yes Alan and Wren, the bike slide makes no sense but little makes sense when concerning anime physics, so I'll let it... _slide..._ (end me) Cheers again to everyone involved at every level! Clint, you and your moderators have fostered a great community on discord and I've met so many incredible people as a result of it, thank you so much to you and everyone involved! ❤
Mine is at 2:47 , I didn't make it to the top 100 , but I am happy for being at least in the top patreons montage with my first pwnisher challenge submission :)
I was anxious to find out if my animation had been selected for the competition, and at 3:28:39 it appeared! I'm thrilled to see my work in the 'Endless Engines' animation competition and grateful to have been selected for the top 100. I want to congratulate all the other participants on their amazing work and thank Clint for hosting the competition. It was an incredible and challenging experience, and I'm looking forward to participating in more competitions in the future. Thank you all!
The last entry at 3:30:30 is straight out of Robotech Mospedia. The bike is a Robotech bike which transforms as armour just like the animation does, and the robot thing chasing him is an Invid alien - an alien is inside that alien armour flying it. Both motorcycle design and flying Invid design are top notch and exactly like the animated series and roleplayign game. That one is such a great render and animation. Really really love it. But well well done to ALL Top 100.... you guys are so so good.... love all of it. :)
Duuude thats actually impressing. Totally loving every single one! Nowadays where most people are only consuming or "creating" copy + paste content I'm so thankful for that creative dedication you and all the artists put in your work ❤
I made this animation,I downloaded your model from a model site, but there is no creator information recorded in that site……Now that I know where it came from, I'll buy it and put the source link under my video,Thanks again for making this model!
As a Motorcyclist I really wanna appreciate how those artists took time to make that realistic, there’s so much physics knowledge involved in riding one I’m imagining its really hard to animate that and make it look realistic
Find my entry at 3:03:45 . Extremely happy to find this here!! I could not have imagined finding my entry among so many of these insane masterpieces!! Thank you guys for the oppurtunity, will participate in every single challenge hereafter :D
@@madsadlab I made it entirely in Blender, I didn't really have any other options as they are expensive, Blender is great to start, but if you want an industry job maya would be a better pick
So proud to have been apart of this. Never had a chance of making it in the top 100 as I downloaded a 3D software for the first time in January, but I learned so much from this challenge!
Honestly, well done to everyone that submitted and took part. Give yourself a pat on the back, i've watched so many submissions and everytime i've been impressed and surprised. This community is god damn awesome!
Didn't make it in the top 100 unfortunately but honored to have been apart of the challenge and can't wait for the next! Also the top 100 I must admit were some absolutely incredible works so this only motivates me to get better.
@MadSadLab I used a combination of blender, davinci resolve, and adobe painter (used to be substance painter). All 3 softwares do very different things. Blender is for 3d modeling, some basic texturing, lighting and rendering. I used Adobe Painter to texture the Jet I modeled. Davinci is where I composited everything to add the extra pop to the animation. If I had to recommend anywhere to begin it would definitely be Blender, but Unreal is awesome too and best thing is both are free out the gate so it's not a huge commitment to make when getting started. Good luck and excited to see what you create!
bug boy looked amazing but in my opinion the kid in the bicycle with the green jack and the hand held camera in the Vespa. was my winner.. it tells more than a chase. camera movement was amazing, the way the kids recording goes out of the frame and come back in.. bug boy looks amazing but I feel like that chase we seen it lots of times. BUT. its amazing to watch and re watch over and over.... color and textures spot on. the movement was nice to see as well.. Congratulations to all..
Big props to the winners! To the top 100! And also to all the crazy renders I saw all around the web btw! It was so amazing to watch all those artworks, and for sure I will partecipate again next year!
congrats to the top 5 and the top 100 people you guys did GREAT work, i am not in top hundred and now i know why i am not thanks everyone for helping me as i am new to 3d only 6 months using blender as my software i will be far better than i am now and this challenge really made me learn a lot! special thanks to pwnisher for hosting these challenges my man you are beast in this field. see you guys in the next one. ggs
lovely seeing all you corridor folks doing the critic thing on this.. as always everyone did a great job, really enjoyed watching this with you all. cannot wait for the big edit to drop!
I didn't make it in the top 100 this time but it's fair, the quality of all those renders is incredible! Congrats to all of you! So I inspiring to level up my own level for next time 😁🚀. Just one little note, n°2 is really amazing but not a vehicle to me.. doesn't matter but I would understand if n°6 get upset ^^😅. Anyway thank you very much Clint and all the team for this opportunity to gather and grow all together through this very positive challenge. Super mindset, keep doing what you do! 😊
2:04:09 Right after the raptor falls off, you can see not only is there a flux capacitor from back to the future, but also the Mr. Fusion unit from back to the future 2 is attached to the car also. Cpt. Disillusion was right when he called it out.
Y’all are nuts, I’ve been using unreal to try and learn 3D rendering but there is not much documentation or tutorials so I get stuck on the simplest things like trying to change the color of a quixel material, meanwhile some people here are making animations better than hundred million dollar movies… inspiring and humbling
bruh i cant explain how much i underestimated what people will do, i did not make it to the top 100, soo many talented people and soooo soooooo many years of experience, nights spent modeling, all put together in one place, wow.
I’m a weird car nerd. This has been the challenge I’m most excited for to see, and just from the prestream intro I’m impressed with the level of quality on the renders 😊
Thank you for organizing once again an incredible challenge! And to all the artists: your creativity is astonishing! Can't wait to see the final montage ❤

the sheer display of talent here is outstanding, I will be honored to have anyone of these folks on my team for any creative endeavor, I just cant believe how good all of you are. keep it up!
At around 1:08:00 The wagon there looks amazing, I'm not an expert on US cars, but it kinda reminds me of an old Caprice, kinda fitting as the police car look like a newer Caprice, also probably drawn to it as it reminds me of a Buick Century estate I once owned, which would be a smaller version of that wagon. (Though a part of me is thinking Olds Cutlass, or even a Ford, like a Fairmont of Kingswood?)

1:14:54 I love the water reflections so much!!!
Thanks, I'm so happy people are liking it so much!🥹
@@UnknownDino your segment was my favourite bro, also love the animations u did for life beyond 3
@@Stop_This_Madness thank you so much!
@@UnknownDino bro can i have your insta i wanna follow
2:51:27 Still in shock I made it to the top 100. Didn't expect it at all. Every submission is just so incredibly good. Can't believe I'm a part of them 😳
Thanks so much. I'm a big fan of all of you guys!
One of my favorites. Amazing work !
@@spikewilliam Thank you so much!
Love this dude!
@MadSadLab I used Blender. It's free, has a great community and many tutorials online. So I'd say just go for it. I myself just started learning the program 6 month ago.
2:24:05 is really great, as a Warhammer fan it’s fantastic to see the White Scars animated
Ty Guys!
Great work
@@cvampaul ty!
I was out with friends celebrating Ireland winning the grand slam in Rugby and would check in every now and again into the livestream for a few seconds but stopped then as I never assumed I'd ever make it to top 100 so I'm gutted I wasn't even around to see it live hahaha
I started this four days before the deadline and my only takeaway was how happy I was with how much I was able to do in those four days, but to see that I've made top 100 as well has completely stunned me.
I'm really glad that despite these big drawbacks I was still able to apply some semblance of time management to myself and get some compositing done hahaha
So Alan and Peter are both half right, everything was animated normally, and I then baked each characters animation.
_slide..._ (end me)
Cheers again to everyone involved at every level! Clint, you and your moderators have fostered a great community on discord and I've met so many incredible people as a result of it, thank you so much to you and everyone involved! ❤
Love to see it!!!
@@sotomonte_ Cheers Soto!!! You and the rest of the team have been incredible for putting up with all us messers!! 😝❤
honestly your work on this is immaculate, I swear the style gives me hifi rush vibes. You're wonderfully talented
@@blank5237 Aww lad, cheers!! I'm blushing here hahaha
in 4 days?! that is so good!
Mine is at 2:47 , I didn't make it to the top 100 , but I am happy for being at least in the top patreons montage with my first pwnisher challenge submission :)
your looks really good :)
Yours is insanely cool man, defs one of my faves
Insane 😍
looks fucking sick, dude. Niiiiiice!
yea it looks epic, thats a pitty you are no in top100, i hope next time :)
23:00 let me get a whole movie for this one
Yeah this is one of my favorites for sure
@@gilibertusthetiny thank you!!😊
The last entry at 3:30:30 is straight out of Robotech Mospedia.
Stuff like this is why i love CGI the best think for me that ever happend to Cinema
Duuude thats actually impressing. Totally loving every single one! Nowadays where most people are only consuming or "creating" copy + paste content I'm so thankful for that creative dedication you and all the artists put in your work ❤
2:04:23, can’t believe you guys spotted the flux capacitor, but missed that it was actually a time machine that was about to time travel…
it did time travel, you can see the fire marks trail of the car that it leaves behind
That Ghostbusters one at the 2:04:21 mark. Soooo good. Those traps and the little guys shadows being towered over.... so good
1:04:00 happy to see someone use my free model. Plus add simulation to hair and skirt. Damnnn🎉
Thank you for the cat model!I like it so much!
I made this animation,I downloaded your model from a model site, but there is no creator information recorded in that site……Now that I know where it came from, I'll buy it and put the source link under my video,Thanks again for making this model!
It's free so is ok, and is on gumroad. (the concept artist "cat yagi the goat") great artist.
do help ask them to credit if possible XD
Well deserved Fabricio! This animation is just incredible!!!!
❤❤❤
25:19 that is G1 Starscream if you're wondering
As a Motorcyclist I really wanna appreciate how those artists took time to make that realistic, there’s so much physics knowledge involved in riding one I’m imagining its really hard to animate that and make it look realistic
57:00 the kid and the mom in the background, screen right is a nice touch they missed. Really nice detail.
I really loved this one❤
This was my favourite
Find my entry at 3:03:45 . Extremely happy to find this here!! I could not have imagined finding my entry among so many of these insane masterpieces!! Thank you guys for the oppurtunity, will participate in every single challenge hereafter :D
@@madsadlab I made it entirely in Blender, I didn't really have any other options as they are expensive, Blender is great to start, but if you want an industry job maya would be a better pick
3:33:37 things i assume most people just didn’t see unless they watched the stream but i skipped to the end and got to see this so here u go enjoy
So proud to have been apart of this. Never had a chance of making it in the top 100 as I downloaded a 3D software for the first time in January, but I learned so much from this challenge!
Imma be real the sand ship and whale at 3:22:25 should have been in the top 5. It had so many different rendering effects in there man.
It looked a little janky imo, but the concept I thought was awesome
A.I will never able to beat this happiness and the hype. On your face A.I
Few more months and I can too participate in this competition. Excited

31:23 really stood out for me. Amazing perspective and storytelling here. Visuals on point too! 👏👏
Honestly, well done to everyone that submitted and took part. Give yourself a pat on the back, i've watched so many submissions and everytime i've been impressed and surprised. This community is god damn awesome!
Amazing top 100, all of theses were incredible ! My favourite one : 2:45:02
Didn't make it in the top 100 unfortunately but honored to have been apart of the challenge and can't wait for the next! Also the top 100 I must admit were some absolutely incredible works so this only motivates me to get better.
no one cares about ur render.😊
@MadSadLab I used a combination of blender, davinci resolve, and adobe painter (used to be substance painter). All 3 softwares do very different things. Blender is for 3d modeling, some basic texturing, lighting and rendering. I used Adobe Painter to texture the Jet I modeled. Davinci is where I composited everything to add the extra pop to the animation. If I had to recommend anywhere to begin it would definitely be Blender, but Unreal is awesome too and best thing is both are free out the gate so it's not a huge commitment to make when getting started. Good luck and excited to see what you create!
@MadSadLab of course! happy to help (:
God these people are working so hard om these render and every render looks Beautiful in their own way
bug boy looked amazing but in my opinion the kid in the bicycle with the green jack and the hand held camera in the Vespa. was my winner.. it tells more than a chase. camera movement was amazing, the way the kids recording goes out of the frame and come back in..
bug boy looks amazing but I feel like that chase we seen it lots of times. BUT. its amazing to watch and re watch over and over.... color and textures spot on. the movement was nice to see as well.. Congratulations to all..
3:28:40 this is perfect special for tribute for Camaro because the Camaro has stopped production
These challenges are so inspiring.
And the community is growing in quality too.
Big props to the winners!
To the top 100!
And also to all the crazy renders I saw all around the web btw!
It was so amazing to watch all those artworks, and for sure I will partecipate again next year!
congrats to the top 5 and the top 100 people you guys did GREAT work,
i am not in top hundred and now i know why i am not
thanks everyone for helping me as i am new to 3d only 6 months using blender as my software
i will be far better than i am now and this challenge really made me learn a lot!
special thanks to pwnisher for hosting these challenges my man you are beast in this field.
see you guys in the next one.

lovely seeing all you corridor folks doing the critic thing on this.. as always everyone did a great job, really enjoyed watching this with you all. cannot wait for the big edit to drop!
The mad max monster truck supercar idea is an amazing idea. I love it.
at 15:16 the man just riding a bike call fixed gear that insane
These are absolutely AMAZING!! It was so fun watching these entries! Great job everyone!
I love this art by MatMadness 2:21:16 and as well as this art 2:36:59
2:04:09
Right after the raptor falls off, you can see not only is there a flux capacitor from back to the future, but also the Mr. Fusion unit from back to the future 2 is attached to the car also.
Cpt. Disillusion was right when he called it out.
56:00 Toyota MR2 Mk1 being chased by NSX. Good work Billy this was awsome
I personally don't agree with all of the top 5 but the winner was definitely well deserved! So good!
Huge respect to everyone in this video! Can't imagine how much time it takes to make one of these!
Yesss!! 💪
These are some of the best renders i have ever seen. Great job everyone( i wanted to take part in this but i have my exams ) Also, Thank you clint for giving so much exposure to many many underrated artists! Great stufff!
So many insanely mind-blowing renders here DAAANG!
I wasn't paying attention, was there any... good stuff? ;-) Again tremendous amount of inspiration and congrats to everyone participating. If time allows it I'm hoping to join the next round. Thanks Clint for all the work and providing this platform!
that flintstone and the chair one was the best one in my opinion, lighting, render, look, story amazing. sad they didn't made it to the top 5
Just watching the "rejects" in the begining... Jeez. So much great work.
I love how kind, helpful and encouraging this community is. Keep it up everyone.
2:49:40 yeeeei i made it 3rd time participating and 2nd time in the top im very happy right now
@MadSadLab i use blender, for me at least is very easy and usefull
1:17:20 I would like to vote for this one.
Does anyone know who is the artist responsible for the yellow machine @ 3:48? It'd be swell to follow their socials.
Congrats to everyone, really amazing art! it's incredible to see how the bar has risen even more since last challenge, I wanna thank this community for all the inspiration and help! I still didn't make it to top 100 but will keep trying and improve my skills!!! 💪
Some of most riveting content on TH-cam. Thanks for bringing it.
35:00 movies level 👌 the best one for me
1:52:00 as a Countach fan, i surely like that animation, but hell yeah the talent is enormous in that challenge 👍
one at 22:00 I'm surprised wasn't in the top 5. the story and outstanding level of detail on that unique art style blew me away.
I didn't make it to the TOP100, but it was a very good experience.
Thank you for giving me a good opportunity.
I will challenge myself to be in the top 100 next time.
thank you very much!
1:07:49 was my personal favorite. Holy, that LOOK.
I really do wish there was an easier way to see the top 100 without joining the discord but ok.
@pwnisher Good luck deciding the top 5 from these 100 ! Incredible work, all of them.
2:37:20 this guy definitely took Dillongoo's animation course. Great work!
3:08:34 maaann these Command and Conquer references take me back. That mammoth tank at the back, the GDI logo and that warthog. Love it!
2:03:55 it isn't steam, it is the time machine arcing up. Look at the tire flames.
it must be so hard to judge with all this insanely talwnted people sending godly work each and every one of them was amazing
Such a great video, nice renders, favourite youtubers, so cool. Captain Disillusion always makes my day
Congrats Fabrício Moraes!!!! Awesome work!!! Dope🎉🎉🎉
You really created something amazing here man, getting all this impeccable talent together in one video is a spectacular feat. These are the only youtube videos this length that I'd sit and watch pretty much all the way through.
the sheer display of talent here is outstanding, I will be honored to have anyone of these folks on my team for any creative endeavor, I just cant believe how good all of you are.
Props to all top 100 they definitely improved in quality from the first rendering challenge.
100 isn't enough to show how much amazing talent is out there
