I believe Roger Waters to be one of the most influential artists of the twentieth century. His comitment to the humanism, to generate consciousness about the rights we all as human beings have. It does not matter the colour of your sking, ideological beliefs or whatever. We've all got more in common than we've got differences. Just that the establishment and the media occupies on making us focus on the differences, so as we keep on fighting each other.

Art, must reflect society. Must criticise it. Rock itself, is revolutionary, skeptic. We must not allow ourselves to be treated as "colateral damage" anymore. We must not allow them to vanish inocent lives. There is no need for hunger and poverty in this world. I applaude you, Mr. Waters. Everyone who believes a musician, or artist on any kind, should not "open his mouth" on social or political issues, then my friends you most certainly don't know a single thing about art.
Basic Human rights...that is all is asked for the Palestinians. Water, food, security. This is what Roger is talking about. I'm so happy that Roger is helping to make more people aware of the truth of what is going on there. Check out sources other than mainstream media and educate yourself as to what is actually the truth. The entire world will benefit from Peace on Palestine & Israel.
If it wasn't for the religious fantasy that both sides believe in no one would be at war. End ancient religions & free those enslaved by them. -I saw roger in 2007 & last week here in Vancouver, the shows were so classy and brilliant-in fact they were beyond description. Thanks roger.

The big issue nobody covers is the fact that any decent jewish man or woman that knew their religion inside out, could never accept today's israel as their prophecied "gift from god" to them. Not one of their so called prophecies has come true to make that claim. Just of one of the obvious examples,,, they have no "living messiah", a big requirement if you would ask me.
