Hello bailiwick I am a recreational fisherman fixing up my own 13 foot boat and I can’t seem to find any tall enough rails .do you know where you got them rails on that super dingy(great looking boat)
Thanks :) they actually came with it when I bought it I believe they were homemade by the gentleman that made the boat there really strong and I feel much safer in the rougher weather 😀
Thanks gaz !! It was really difficult filming I had to scrap most of the footage because of the rain on the lense 🙄😄but yes very good result !! Thank you as always for watching 😃
Hi Lee Thank you for watching appreciate the kind comments the super dinghy is made over here well used to be made over here in Guernsey a local chap had the mold for them and make a batch , there 12ft and I'm guessing around 4-5ft beam across very stable little bay dinghys
By gum Neil, you live well, I'm not jealous of your surf and turf, honest, It's about time you cooked Sarah a meal and I don't mean cornflakes or egg and chips. Great content as usual, take care, Norfolk Ray
Thanks Ray!! 😀.... I eat the best I can! , it was a VERY difficult video to film because of the misty rain on the lenses I've got plenty more videos to come ... I've actually stopped filming for the last month because I've got so many in stock 😅 Take car ray ! Thank you as always for watching Neil
Hi Douglas, good question spider crabs your see me throwing back in this video as the season starts in April when they come close inshore for breeding but mid summer they start heading out and personally the meat isn't as good , also they feed in the day in great numbers and get to the bait in the pots quicker than the lobsters who mainly feed at night and once the pot is full of spiders the lobsters loose interest , winter time is good for brown crab but usually in deep water whereas I fish the shallows in the gullys etc for lobsters where other boats can't get too Hope this helps :) Thank you for watching Bailiwick fishing 🎣
@@bailiwickfishing1295 Hi Neal , thanks a lot for taking the time to reply , much appreciated. I fish myself as a hobby .l live in Southampton and get out a few times a week, me and a friend are looking at buying a small boat at the moment , I used to deliver sailing yachts and my friend is ex navy so we've got a clue but your videos are really helpful and informative, always enjoy them , plenty of really good tips . May all your pots be full take care 🙂..
gday capt bailiwick , not a bad haul for 24 hours from not to many pots i hate that crappy misty rain not rain at all . Thats a good little boat that fit for purpose as they say and the motor does a god job ,ive just had a brand new 40hp yamaha four stroke fitted to my boat big outlay but it will see me out , they dont sell two bangers here any more everything is four stroke now anyway good video take care .
Thanks crispernator!! Yeah it was a nightmare 😕 I couldn't use all the footage because the lense of the go pros got so misted up ... but hey that's life next time 😄yeah fantastic little boat, oh really I'm guessing the don't sell 2 strokes because of the emissions etc ? Thanks for watching as always Neil
Them oilskins look lovely and clean! You are lucky if you can leave small outboards on boats on the beach, we get far too many light fingered people here
Haha they are clean for now 😄, yeah it's the best part of the island there is people that go around pinching stuff but if there caught the public shame is not worth it ! Thank you as always for watching 😃
Lobsters galore. They were a nice size. I notice you all drive Toyotas over there, they are a good reliable vehicle.

@@bailiwickfishing1295 its a nice watch. One trip out herring netting and our oilys are filth bound. Sounds a nice close knit community there
Crab pot mayhem 101.
Will you be cooking some Larry's 😂
Probably not
@@millwallnutter4736 not on this trip but I will be doing another catch and cook again soon 😊
I will be doing some in the future 😀
Do you have quota?
Hi Mark, the boat will have , but I'm unsure as it's the skippers boat :)
Thank you for watching 😃
@@bailiwickfishing1295 What dose that mean,as a recreational fisherman you are only allowed two lobster per boat per day.
In guernsey you are allowed up to 25 crabs a day and up to 5 lobsters per day as a recreational fisherman :)
