Love your straight forward on the bike reviews! Great perspective! Which 250f stalls the least in slow techy stuff? (I like the 250f power curve but the '16 xc-f flameouts can be abrupt and put me on the ground quick). Cheers
Glad you enjoy the channel! I think the KTM 250SXF/XCF is most stall prone at low RPM of the 250F's. I have ridden a YZ250FX (2016 model - so been a while) and it ran very well at low RPM (the 6-speed transmission helped too). I rarely stalled my '22 CRF250R and '22 YZ250F on woods loops. Back to Back ride on both... th-cam.com/video/XlaPHLR8jy0/w-d-xo.html My 22.5 KTM 250SXF Factory Edition seems to be less stall prone compared to earlier models... th-cam.com/video/i7DqLk_A0EA/w-d-xo.html
Like any full on moto race 250F 4-stroke you need to cover the clutch in technical slow trials like riding when the engine is at super low (idle level) RPM. YZ250 2-stroke has a narrower usable powerband and is carb so can require jetting changes with temperature changes and is kick start only. 2-strokes tend to be easier to ride at on slow technical trails but this GG EX250F was a lot of fun in the woods.
Think the lower price from the KTM is worth it? Hard to find a KTM right now. Local dealer has a sale on these right now for 8900 here in Oregon. Still debating on this vs the 250xc 2t
The Gas Gas is a nice option to save some money over a KTM. The 250F vs 250 2-stroke is bigger debate! I really like how smooth and linear the power is on the 250/300 TPI bikes and with EFI and oil injection they run clean all the time. That is a tougher choice! For me I always have a 350 4-stroke and 300 TPI bike in the garage. Fun to have them go head to head! My KR350 vs 300XCW... th-cam.com/video/HHF8mNIM1J4/w-d-xo.html

How easy does this bike stall and how does it compare to a yz250 on the trails and does it lug good
