- In this episode I am riding and reviewing this incredible electric moped! The Spark Bandit is not quite an e-bike and not really a e-moto its an e-moped. Yes I like the spark Bandit moped but talking about the electric motorcycles is a grey area for me because the can't go on side walks in parks on bike trails and that's why I love e-bikes for the fun factor and mine is fast enough for me even I could afford the cake I'd be riding by my self because all my friends would be on e-bikes and ye its good yo see you back Chris not seen much of you lately bro stay cool my friend big love 💙👍🏾

The trick to closing the foot pegs on the Bandit is to close them back slowly and it'll stay. Other than that I'm loving this eMoped and I have no buyers remorse. Excellent review Shawver you did with the Bandit and safe riding to you.

Hi Chris ye my mid-drive is 8 geared and has pedal assist and half a turn of the pedal Nd the motor kicks in plus its a talk sensor it feels like I'm just going through the motion of moving my legs and the bike takes of and yes I have seen your fashion show earlier but all saints gets all my money but I have to say super73 is cheaper so going to look on line I like the orange wind breaker but I do like some of the old stock and I don't mind the logo being bigger on the back of the jackets good luck with your modeling carrier, smooth Chris 👍🏾

Wow love this E-Moped , is awesome because the dual battery no range anxiety n you can keep up with traffic n you can register it , also I appreciate the turn signals , like the way you set your mirror you can see very clearly

Turn signals are cool and all, it’s got decent power. But it’s a moped?! Why buy this and have to register and pay insurance on basically an ebike? I’d rather get the Super73 RX and get the 20% torque update and have dual suspension and not have to register it… legit ebike. If I’m registering an EV I’m getting an e-motorcycle!
Love the look of it with the second battery on top! Without the battery it looks funky 😂

@@ShawverFilms I have a collection of motorcycles... I'm looking for an e-ride that I can take on bike trails. Technically in Okla, Class 3 ebikes are banned from bike trails, only Classes 1 & 2 are legal.

Nice vid Chris, you’ll definitely need to address those handlebars. Seemed to have a good amount of speed now those things ship with VIN’s correct? As a moped with a VIN you’d need a plate, tag, insurance maybe some kind of endorsement? Can you ride bike paths and trails?
Hey Matthew, Yes I cant wait till the next creator puts the cafe bars on! Also yes, they do ship with VIN numbers and a vin plate. as for cali I would need to get plates and ins however I do know that in some states especially Connecticut as long as the bike has a VIN thats all that is needed for it to be legal and dont need any plates so it varies from state to state. I assume that in cali once its registered then I woulnt be able to ride on bike paths and trails any longer.

does it have a torque arm for the motor?
That rear fender looks like its not right. Like it wouldn't fit like a normal bike so they put it where is would fit because the circle doesn't match with the wheel.
I hope this doesn't sound weird but what city/neighborhood is this in? The area looks really nice, wouldn't mind checking out homes for sale. Thanks.
Nice review Bro! 44 mph. I think it would have gone faster if you hadn't run out of road. Super 73 isn't even in the same league. This thing is 10 mph off an ONYX, and 15mph off a HUCK. It looks more like an ebike than a escooter, unlike the other two. The selling point for me with any ebike or scooter is it has to be able to climb hills with ease. ''With No Pedaling''.

In a heads up race between this and the Ariel Rider Grizzly V2 which would be faster acceleration-wise? I know the bandit is faster top speed but I wonder if the Grizzly would go faster with an upgraded controller? I live in Ohio so laws are pretty loose here. I don't want to have to register anything because I like riding on bike trails and sometimes have to ride on sidewalks so the Grizzly appeals to me a little more since it's technically still an 'e-bike', but I also want something that can do 40mph for those times I have to be on the road. I heard Sparks is making a dual motor bike but don't know when or any of the details.

I don’t know of any stock ebike in that 30-35/mph range that accelerates as fast as the V2 Grizzly’s. I like the seat as a 6’3 200/lbs rider it’s hard to find an ebike that’s going to ride comfortably without modding. I seen a 6’3 dude that was 300/lbs plus riding a Grizzly no problem. It’s not the prettiest looking bike but you can ride it pretty much anywhere a bike can. That Vin number thing might make things more difficult for ebike rider’s and manufacturers. I’m sure new laws are already being discussed now by politicians

Great video, do you think this bike could get you into trouble legally if you didn’t register it, just like a normal e bike in CA?
Personally for me as long as you are riding it responsibly and all you should be totally fine. It’s got pedals and it doesn’t look extremely aggressive like the Huck does. It’s like a little larger and faster SUPER73 in my opinion. However they do give you a VIN number so you could register if you chose to do so. Hope that helps.

I need some help. I've decided to buy an e-bike but I can't choose between an Ariel Rider Grizzly or a Spark cycles Bandit can anyone help me choose which is a better company?
I really only have experience with Spark, as far as the company goes Spark is amazing people. I have been out to their headquarters a few times and they always are testing out new thing and pushing the limits and I love to see that. Hi Chris. Do you know if the extra batt on the top frame is 48 or 52 volt?
Yo, So I reached out to the owners at Spark to answer that correctly… below is a copy and paste from their reply….
“If you buy a dual battery bandit, you get two 48v batteries. The one you have has a 52v though. It’s a bit more experimental because we wanted to test the battery blender’s effectiveness of long term balancing. If people are wondering, we have been finding the 48v we’ve been using lately have been performing as well as the 52. Because of our controller, we have found it to make no notable difference to use the 48”

Unfortunately this isn’t legal in the UK 🇬🇧 bike’s are restricted to 25kph or 15mph

I dont understand why. Your car goes 100mph and thats against the law. Why cant are bikes go that fast and choose not to ride them that fast on the road. Europe is too strict i hope it dosent be like that in usa
@@rontron418 it’s because if it is over 15mph assisted then it’s classified as a motor cycle and have to be registered as a moped under the law in the UK

But yes I had spoke with them and it’s the battery’s I was told cost so much to get across the water. They are actively working on other shipping options to get the bikes out to Hawaii.

Hey Johnny, you can easily just plug and play a twist throttle for about $30.
Also when ordering from Spark if you tell them you want twist then they will install before shipping.

No it doesn’t however depends on your state and what mode you are riding in. It does come with a VIN tho so you could register it if needed.
That will be so uncomfortable to pedal with low bars, you will be kneeing yourself in the chest.
I can see that but I do want to at least try the lower cafe bars. I just love the look and feel of the cafe style.
