Excellent Choices. Really enjoyed the" What's In The Bag". Thank You.
Thank you, Ron!
Good job! Lke the clubs and the alternate ones you plan on moving in and out. Those Tacomo's are nice and if you find you need a little more distance you have the alternate set and they do hit very similar. I test for the big labels and the prices are exorbitant and it makes so much more sense to play the direct to market solutions these days. The pressure is on for the big labels to find a way to compete against the direct labels.
Thank you so much, Tom!
I have not seen a lot of your videos lately. I am happy for you that have found better clubs for your game. When you had the low spin head with the low spin shaft in your driver I knew from experience in my own game once your swing speed was lower than 100 mph the loss of spin the ball just fell out of the air. The last time I watched I think you recognised that issue. I like the putter, it looks a bit like my Scotty M1 with the weights. But doesn't look aluminium/stainless steel, but expect you will putt very well with it. Good luck for 2025.
@roberttaylor1801 Wish you'd watch more. My game doesn't really matter. It's to entertain you. If you don't watch it, it means nothing.
Boom, there is , great bag. Awesome bag.
Thank you, Alan!
Christmas in August!! Looks like a super sweet combo!
@montymeyer7172 Thank you Monty!!
Nice club selections! I also game a Sub 70 putter and the CBX4 wedges. I’m a slow swinging, high handicapper so I use the Callaway AI Smoke HL irons, hybrids and woods. I have a Ping G425 Max 10.5 degree driver. I’ve been testing out the Claw gloves too for the past month or so. So far they seem to be working out well, especially in hot, high humidity areas that tend to be rough on leather gloves.
@@solora65 Thank you for watching!!
All good stuff MSH. You put much thought and work into this setup, and I'm sure it will pan out. Good luck and have a blast.
@@petrotmyrcz308 Thank you so much!
Nice to see what your playing and explaining your reasons why a club is in your bag. I am focused on the gaps and have added a 5&6 Cleveland Hybrid and they are my favorite clubs. Keep the video's coming, they are informative and entertaining from someone in the early stages of PGA coaching to knock off all the bad self taught habits. Golf is fun and should be played as a fun activity.
@@stevenorr3196 You got it!
Thank you MSH, great upload all the best from the UK, golf tour of our country in the future I hope. 😁😁😁😁
Hope so!
I was looking forward to this video.
Two specific things I was looking forward to:
1. I was curious which wedges you would go with. I currently have an odd gap in my bag between my 50° and my 56°. I would like to go with a 54° and a 58°. My current wedge is a 56° Callaway cavity back. The Cleveland CBX 4 looks like it would serve me well.
2. I was curious if you would go with Takomo irons. I see a lot of people using them on TH-cam, but they’re usually sponsored. I trust your review. I’m gonna wait to upgrade my irons until I play more consistently and have better scores. I currently have a set of Ping G10s.
Thank you so much! I think you are on the right track filling that wedge gap.
My biggest change to my game was a 7 wood.. cut at least 4 shots a round when I got it.. 3rd year using it and it's a great tee club..
Glad to see that 6 iron being in the mix. I thought you were hitting it extremely well.
Thank you, Mike!
MSH,
We could be twins on our yardages! That’s pretty amazing. We would all love to hit it further. Always working on hitting it further.
Keep up the great videos.
Thank you for watching!
Awesome video 👏
I recently got the Srixon ZX5 irons and loving them. So many good options on the market though!
Thank you for watching!
I bought that 6 hybrid that you use and yea it's great and won't be going out of my bag anytime soon. Great video, certainly worth the wait. Keep up the good work!!
Thank you!
Appreciate you greatly MSH. I'm a recent subscriber. As a new guy to the game (
@LewisM613 I appreciate you! Keep it going! Hopefully, my driving video coming soon will help.
Great clubs and great video!
@ejslemp5342 Thank you EJ!
I Love the Claw golf glove been using them for years
Thank you!
Thanks for the what's in the bag.
Thank you for watching!
Nice selection. I bought a set of the Takoma 101s and love the looks of them but honestly wish I had waited for more reviews like the one you did on the 201s. I think I would have liked them better. I ended up going back to my Ping G425s. The Tacoma’s are now my quest clubs if someone visits without any clubs lol.
Thank you Dean!
Rain gear. Yes sir, wish I thought about that. ⛈️ Got soaked last week. 😒
Yes!
Just found your channel, love it keep the videos coming!
@mjtink9240 Thank you so much! New video coming in a couple hours.
Great looking bag too!
@@anthonycollins9758 Thank you!
Interesting video. I’m currently thinking about swapping out my 6 iron for a hybrid, so it was interesting to learn that you also don’t always play a 6 iron.
Thank you for watching!
Cool bag…. Myself run 13 clubs looking for the 14th. Have 10* driver and 4 (16.5) wood and a 21* 4 hybrid Looking for one more lower lofted longer club and cannot decide on a 18* 5 wood (may be a little better in dispersion) or a 18* 3 hybrid. Awesome video. Like you run 4 wedges as well because PW is 43* so 48-54-60 and comfortable with those gaps.
Thank you so much!
I love that bag.
@@randolphtolbert3825 Thank you!
Just subscribed to your channel and really enjoying your content! Picked up the 3+ Hywood thanks to you. You mentioned adding a 4 wood possibly so since I work for a major golf ⛳️ retailer I thought I’d suggest that you try out a Ping G430 SFT 3 fairway wood since it’s lofted at 16 degrees. I really like mine a lot and since it’s got a little more upright lie and lighter weight than a regular fw it’s easier to turn over for a draw with more roll out and increased distance. Maybe an idea for a review? Thanks and Merry Christmas 🎄!
I wish I could get my hands on one of those. I've thought about starting to look into used equipment for reviews. New is a pricey investment for me. Thank you so much for your support!
Wow. I was sure you were going with the Sub70 irons. 😮
Very tough decision!
I was surprised that you carry (PW, 50, 54, 58). I was also surprised to not see a phone holder of some sort in your bag. I use an app to track shots during a round (thought you were too at one point) and I found having a Desert Fox Phone Caddy was a big help, along with a belt clip "holster" for my phone for when I'm on the green or tee box.
@jeffbadke5932 I use the pinpoint app and input data after the round. I switched wedges because the PW is weaker than my previous set.
Helpful vid! I've been researching the CBX wedges, playing around with a graphite shaft... As a mid handicapper and fairly short hittah I think it would help me to get out of the Ping s159 and into the 50/54/58 since those lofts match up well with my i525s. Also really liked your vid comparing the CBX and RTX!
Thank you so much!
50/54/58 deg wedges it's what I've been using for a while now (2 yrs). Solid striking plus good nuf spin. Nice video!
@@hb-ze4ug Thank you!
Hi MSH i mentioned in a recent video i had a 5.5 shaft thats was stiff.but it is 6.0 my bad.But anyway i went to a more flexable shaft and gained about 25 yards. Thanks MSH ✌😀
@tomchaperon1081 No problem, Tom. That's awesome!
Were you able to purchase just the Takomo 7-PW irons or you did you have to buy the standard 4-PW? I am interested in the 7-PW and a GW since I use a 3, 4, 5 hybrid instead of a 4, 5, 6 iron.
@rickcudmore8156 They come 4-PW. Their only $589, so you can use the 4-6 as alignment sticks and still save lots of money!
Great setup. That Takomo great looks good. I think we all knew that HyWood would be there. I figured you would've had a new ball in play from some recent videos but still not surprised.
Still working the ball out. Thank you Chris!
Great video 📸
@@lesapicciolo5606 Thank you!
Very interesting selection of clubs, I think for me it’s the wedges, I play a very soft course and I have f grind wedges, I think lots of people don’t think of the conditions of there course and only play brand names. Good video 👍🏌️♂️🇨🇦
@mikejackson9105 Thank you Mike!
I have the same CBX Wedges in my bag. Love them!
The Z Star is a hard compression ball for fast swing speeds. I have tested many balls and found that for my driver swing speed of 90, a 3 pc medium compression ball works best for me.
I use TM Tour Response and Srixon Q Star Tour and my scores have dropped.
They are both medium compression 3 pc balls.
Have you ever tried any medium compression balls?
@@stevecampbell5928 I have 77 golf ball reviews on my channel. Many of them were medium compression. Thank you for watching!
@@stevecampbell5928 I've reviewed both of those balls on the channel.
Great set up. I love how diverse it is. I may look at replacing my ZX7 gap wedge with a CBX for added forgiveness. I'm surprised you never gave the ZX5 or ZX7 irons a shot.
I hit the 585s back in the day. Thank you for watching!
Can’t wait to see these in person and in action. Mr Bighitter is needs a session
Thank you, Brian!
You making me rethink my iron choices. I feel Lisk I would be more confident going to hybrids in the 5 and 4, instead of irons
@@wadepreston3401 Worth a try. Thank you for watching!
Nice 👍🏽 bag!
Thank you!
Thank you MSH. "Hit'em straight "
Thank you!!
Great Video…
Thanks for sharing.
In reference to your irons, did you see a loss in distance when you switched from the Takomo 101s to the 201s..?
Cheers..!🍻
Yes, I did. Just filmed a video comparison today. Thank you!
@ awesome thank you can’t wait to see it
Glad for the WITB! As a man in my 50’s who isn’t a short hitter I still play a 6 hybrid.
Thank you so much!
I have 52 and 56 degree CBX4 wedges. We play in damp/wet conditions a lot of the year in the Pacific NW. I am testing irons now. I have Sub70 699 irons but I want to update those. Also, move to a 5 wood from a 16.5 degree "3" wood.
Thank you so much!
Great video
Thank you!
Very informative. Does the Hywood have a much lighter shaft than the hybrids or 5 wood?
Helium is 55 grams Cypher is 48 grams
As a Takomo player Im happy to see you are playing the 201s!
Great irons!
@@mistahshorthitter Those will likely be my next set. Custom set of 201s with Axiom shafts.
I love that concept, if it's not broken, don't fix it...
Yes!
Nice setup. I would love to hear about the longevity of the Takomos. Only negative thing I have heard, might be wrong but reading online they don’t seem to hold up long. Might be false but would love to see future reviews!
Will keep you updated!
I have the CBX for my 60° and the RTX for my 56°! I absolutely love both of them!
@@HangingWithSasquatch Thank you!
Nice bag!
@samimubasher1890 Thank you, Sami!
Interesting setup sir. Have you tried the TaylorMade speedsoft golf balls? I tried them yesterday and man do they jump off the club. Soft feel and loads of speed. Warning: They’ll take some getting used to on the greens
I'll try to get some. Someone else asked about those.
@@mistahshorthitter they were too hot off the putter for my liking. Blew past the first two holes. Was like “nope”. Went back to the maxfli tour
You should try the Mizuno 230Max driver and woods. it's the end of the product cycle and the driver is being sold for under $300 right now, fairway woods are $180. Tremendous value.
I don't know if it's possible to hit it straighter than this! I wouldn't try it unless it was free at this point.
I agree with both of your points but you’re right! I got the max 4 hybrid and it’s $$! With the prices of the fairways and driver I may pick up a couple just to have!
Gotta have the Smuckers PBJ and Kirkland trail mix. Fall is time to put in the rain gloves and knit hat. Just bought a TM 5 wood for a hole in my gapping and love it. And JJ Cale Eric Clapton and the Eagles ride along😊

You got it, Bradley!! Thank you!
I got another halo club. (6)
I love it...
@@StillRunnin Awesome!
Did you adjust the length of shafts or lie angles of your clubs?
No, I did not. My clubs were pretty close to standard the last few years
Good Job kid. Been away for a while my apologies.
@@jcbates6567 Thank you for coming back!
Thinking I'm getting your bag, do you still use and enjoy it? Thanks MSH!
Yes, it is an awesome bag!
What shaft, flex and weight do you use for driver and how long is it? Do you think this driver will stay in the bag? Thanks
@3putt4u It's definitely staying in the Bag. I'll update the description of the video with everything. I should've done that but was trying to get the video out. It's just the standard length and regular flex from Takomo. Hazardous 5.5 shaft
Not that it matters, whats important is having a set that gives you confidence, But I was expectting a few more direct to consumer clubs in the bag. But I strongly agree, if it aint BROKE dont fix it..
Yes!
Have the same wedges except my 58 is rtx.
Thank you!
do you play a reg flex or stiff flex shaft?
Regular
Sorry to hear Sub 70 did not make more WITB.
@@galemurphy4914 Thank you for watching Gale! I think a lot had to do with not getting fit. Hopefully, I can make another trip there and get into some equipment.
The putter is a surprise
Thank you!
I'm surprised you are not playing Maxfli golf balls. Much better QC than srixon, and still affordable.
@xBlade173 Haven't had an issue with ZStar in 2-3 years. Thank you for watching!
No better glove than Finger Ten!

And…what brand cookies?
😆
Is it just me or are amateur “WITB” videos are more interesting than pro’s?
Thank you for watching!
I really enjoy amateur bag videos. I think it is more relatable for the masses. I bought a bag of old clubs at a yard sale for ten bucks and only put 50 more into a couple newer clubs. Every time I go out and play I learn something new about my set. Thanks for the video MSH!
Thank you so much!
Why do you dislike the major equipment guys like Callaway, Ping, Titleist and TaylorMade?
@upanddownfor5961 I don't dislike any company. Srixon and Cleveland are two of the biggest golf companies in the world, and I play their equipment.
Great choices and alternates, but then we were all pretty sure you would vome up Aces with your set up! Hope you really enjoy what's IYB and looking forward to your evaluation of the Clear Tour Green ball. ⛳️🏌♂️
