It’s funny how, depending on which school/area is being filmed, some of the early 90s late 80s clothing and hair styles they rock look LESS “stereotypical 89s” than others. This is one of them. I’ve seen certain school videos up to 94/95 that STILL giving very much “80s vibes”.
It’s funny how a few years can make a huge difference in fashion like you can watch another video of this kind from 1988 and the fashion will be completely different.
Yea same thing if you watch a video from 1995 or even 94, it all looks so different. I wonder why now you can’t really tell as much of a difference between years like 2012 and 2015.
Ehh honestly its not too different at all, you can actually see alot of 90s fashion trends starting to show up if you look at videos from 88/89. Alot of T-shirts tucked into high wasted jeans and students wearing striped polo shirts, but guys did tend to wear their hair alittle shorter by 92.
Honestly it was already starting to get the vibe around 88 - 89. But as far as the real standard of what the 90s turned into yes I think everyone would agree 92 it was fully brought in to the new era. I've always agreed with that.
Stumbled upon this video. I too was c/o '92, but on the other side of the country. I'll be 99% sure the girl in white (5:14) was the most popular, coolest girl in school. Every dude wanted to hang around her. Reminds me of Teri Hatcher.
I'm class of 92 and I'm a recently minted grandad. Running in to people I haven't seen since the early 90s is both terrifying and hilarious. What can you do?
Oh all the lovely feels of the alma mater, or something like that.... at 2:46 we have the famed shakuhachi player Cornelius Boots along with famed actress Erin Cottrell introducing a picture of famed singer Linda XO of The Orion Experience !
Seeing several videos on TH-cam of schools. And I can honestly say none of them hardly a relatable completely. Because they only show a moment. And some of it is the very specific school they went to. But I can tell you firsthand across-the-board that this is probably the most accurate version of 1992 that exist. Nobody it was just naïvely happy. They were very smart, sharp and a little bit cautious about every single movement and thought pretty much. Well at the same time having the 90s five. It was very modern. Almost the same way it is today. And yeah that's pretty much sums it up. This video is about as accurate as it gets for a low quality camera. If you want a more accurate version of the actual level of professional production and stuff like that go watch the Super Bowl.
Most of the fridge don't really bring me back to the way things were. Because each school had its own atmosphere to a certain degree. But this one does. This is pretty much the 1992 that existed all around the world at this time. It was very very modern that's all I can say. Just so much more mental stability as far as God bless in humanity with some peace still. So we felt way more fulfilled and everything. But as far as the styles and culture. It was very very very very similar to what it is right now. Just maybe like a little bit of the smart phones and technology. Same world though.
High school was a difficult time for me I was a foot shorter than the girls 40 lb overweight with crooked yellow teeth and a bad case of gas the ugliest girl in school would not give me the time of day so predictably I played with myself a lot and overtime when blind

So are these kids 16 or 18? In England they would have been finishing compulsory education by doing their GCSE exams if they are 16 here which is what I was doing in 92 or if they are 18 they would have been finishing A levels here to get into university which is what I finished in 94
@@dolphindee74 Thanks for the info. I never knew what they meant in the US when they say they are graduating, I guess it was compulsory to stay on till 18. It is now in the UK but it wasn't back then. Well, they have to do some form of education now between 16-18 whether it be an apprenticeship or A levels to get into Uni but back then it was optional
One of these kids in this class, who was a godless megalomaniac, decided to hang himself on Christmas. He was darling to the left and the local liberal media. The media covered it up and said he died the day after Christmas and refused to say the cause of death. Interesting enough a few months before the suicide he posted a picture of the all seeing eye of Lucifer hanging from a tree. Maybe that was a warning sign I don't know. Some said it was depression, I say this guy hated Jesus with all his heart soul and mind and turned out the lights and he faded in to everlasting darkness.
When girls were so natural back then. No fake lashes, nails, dressed age appropriate and no heavy makeup and the guys were masculine. My generation kids are so screwed up with all kinds of issues. Society has definitely played a part in that

I think it is safe to say that 1992 was the official start of the 90s. 1990 and 1991 were sort of a run-on for the 80s.
