I’m an Alvin Lucier historian and that edition of his works made me discover Black Truffle Records label. I love that box set, essential for my studies. Die Schachtle is a great label run by dear friend Fabio Carboni. The Kayn box set is incredible. Check the “Gruppo Improvvisazione Nuova Consonanza” box set too, always from Die Schachtel, killer release. Eliane Radiegue’s ones are great too. Laurie Spiegel is a universe on her own, incredible listening. Great video, thank you for sharing.
all fantastic composers, I am very fond of their musics...could you please share the list of all the box sets and LPs you have showed during the video, plus the labels and where to buy them...thank you very much!
Love the idea that you are showcasing different type of music away from the usual audiophile records and introduce your subscribers to different type of music that normally we would not be exposed to it. Love it. Maybe if possible you can introduce people to international music. There are so many great artist from Europe. One of them is Negramaro from Italy, rock band and Jovanotti also from 🇮🇹
Hi Michael. Yes, I certainly enjoyed this very much! Better: I've learned a lot from this episode. This will keep me busy (and most likely very satisfied) for quite some time, checking new names and music! Oh man, all shown cover art alone ... woow. WOOW!!! Thanks and regards.
Hi Michael, first of all thanks for this "off the beaten tracks" video, very refreshing :-) just to clarify the Pauline Oliveros showcase... the album you showed is the Sub Rosa edition, not the Imprec one. For the record (pun intended), Imprec was kind of pissed by the fact Sub Rosa put out this album of Pauline Oliveros before them, and before Imprec officially got the license to put out archival releases of Pauline Oliveros works. Don't ask me where Sub Rosa got the source material for this release... Anyways, Sub Rosa is a Belgian label, based in Brussels, and they build a stunning catalogue over a couple of decades, specialising in leftfield releases, covering a wide spectrum of internationally acclaimed, and some really obscure ones too, Avantgarde and experimental artists. Make sure to check out their Early Electronic Series (from which this Pauline Oliveros title) releases, very interesting stuff, beautifully done, and very moderately priced.

And 'ultimo' is great too. A very talented young guy.
Hi Michael, I am consuming all your electro tips. Really love Abul Mogard. And 'we dream all the dark away' is my kind of song. Ciao, Koen
